CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Magic has always been a component of entertainment; shows, folklore, literature
It is a better way to defeat the dastardly video game opponents and win the game than some more lethal and realistic "skills" I have seen in video games.
You know it is just fairytales and fantasy.
I don't see the harm, but then I will qualify that with this caveat: I don't know the game and it could be more than I suppose.
If the ways and means in which it is used in the game make you uncomfortable, and it seems it did, then it is for you to use your mature judgement as to whether you want to play.
There are many vido games and some are very violent and weird. Best to find one that makes you feel good rather than wondering, "Is this really Ok?" Perhaps, if you have to ask, then the answer might be "no"

This is spot on.
While I personally do not judge others (even though I have a disdain for the word magic itself lol) for playing video games that are not the epitome of godliness, I think it is best not to play them.
I have in the past played games such as Cod (zombies included) and many others full of violence, and also played Clash years ago.
Clash of clans has much witchcraft and magic in it, and I played it for awhile until Lord Jesus asked me which one I loved more.
Sank my battleship.
