Should we praise God for evil

All evil exists because that is what God wants at the moment for reasons we cannot comprehend.

Sometimes we can and it takes time, a young lady in my Church was recently involved in a car crash, her recovery was hard on both her and some of her closest friends and God used it to draw them closer to him to have them rely more on him, I would even say that some of the Pastors had their faith grow in this time because of this. Is it not better to have a God who ordained this to happen rather than a God who reacts to the situations we put ourselves into?
