Supporting homosexualism is against CF rules.

Paul speaks against effeminism. If they kick you for speaking the word's of Paul, they have forsaken God.

anyone who loves a saint or angel or church or anything more than God is a homosexual. that is one facet of the spiritual understanding of what 'homosexual' means. now the bar is raised even higher for all Christians and not many will escape from being condemned as a homosexual when the day comes when they see God and repent of their secret sins for most already love men more than God and don't realize it. spiritual blindness is very blind. the outside and physical and natural reality reflects an even deeper core of sin on the soul level.

An impossible proposition. The bible says nothing about homosexuality. It does, however, talk about homosexual intercourse and homosexual lust. The idea of homo or hetero sexuality is a modern concept entirely foreign to the ancient world and unknown to the bible.

You might as well mark out passages of Scripture that condemn fetal implants...
or cloning...
or test-tube babies...

True. But that doesn't really get us very far in the reading and application of Scripture. Whether we consider modern homosexual identity to justify homosexual activity (which would therefore not fall under Pauline condemnations) or to simply express homosexual activity (which would therefore fall under Pauline condemnations) remains a judgment call.

The Bible says what it says. It should not be altered for the convenience or whim of humankind. That said, why are so many so obsessed with homosexuality? Can we not leave that between God and homosexuals?

As a straight man who is a sinner, I have a lot more things to be worried about to try to get right in my life before I devote time to what may be other people's sins.

I expect there may be other sinners on this forum as well. Why don't we question altering Bible verses that have to do with OUR sins? :scratch::confused:

Amen but I don't think that it's so much that so many are 'obsessed' with
homosexuality as so many are sick of the gay agenda being shoved on them.
I also wouldn't like it if it were taught in the schools that it's cool to be
a drunk, and we should embrace drunks in their lifestyle.
Or pedophiles or any other type of bondage.
We already condone and laugh about adultery :(
But yes, we are doing a poor job in the church with the
issue of homosexuality and the GLBT w/e people.
We tend to either lie to them and say "good for you"!
or we condemn them and tell them they're hellbound.
What would Jesus do?

Interestingly, I learned that the Catholic Church really advocates celibacy for all peoples (not just homosexuals) and that a well know Saint (can't remember who) taught that the only atonement for breaking this celibacy is to go forth and multiply.
I think that fasting is a better plan.
God doesn't want us to be celibate, He wants us to give our spouse their
"due".
Can't argue with the Bible. I don't care who you are.

Its not "politically correct" we could offend some people!

Does God's word deserve to be abridged by PC?

Homosexuality is a sin. The homosexual sinner is able to be redeemed from their sin. If we scratch out the references to homosexuality that inform the sexual homosexual that their unrepentant carnal practice will keep them out of Heaven, and all because it is thought to be very PC of us, do we do them a great service in this world? Or do we damn then their eternal soul forever when they die and this world no longer matters?
