Should we ignore morals to combat evil?

Recently I have come to question myself on an issue of morality. I am a very strong Christian and I hold the values of Christ close to my heart. As such I abhor evil in all its forms. To me as an African, like as well as much of the non-western world the greatest evil in this world today in terms of Africa, Middle east, Asian, Latin America… ect (all the non developed world) is the united states of America. It today exists as an evil and negative presence and effect on most of the world and it’s people and we have all suffered greatly because of it.
Now here is the moral issue, I have recently applied (and was granted) a work visa for the US. After going and working there for awhile I will be able to gain citizenship which is what I want to do. How ever I lied on my application and I lied as to the entire reason I want to become an American citizen. It is not because I am looking for a better life, but because I want to do everything possible (and non-violent/not illegal) to bring down the American government and help ends its oppression of the workers of the world. As a citizen of South Africa there is little I can do towards this, but as an American citizen I will be much more valuable and able to help bring down America.

What I question though, was it moral of me to lie on my application and in my intentions in the US… even though what I am trying to do is righteous and for the betterment of the world and mankind? Is it right and Christian of me to lie and sacarfice some of my values to end the slaughter of millions by America, the oppression of billions and the entirty of all the other negative effects it has on the world?

You do understand that they can revoke your citizenship if they find you lied during the process?

Although in your case that'd be hard to prove.

What do you mean the Slaughter of Millions by Americans? Do you mean on what is going on in Iraq?

Can you list the negative effects it has on the World (really about all the country's in the world have done wrong in the world)?

About you lying i think what you did was Wrong. A lot of people come to America to live the supposed "American Dream". What you are doing is similar to a sleeper Agent who is a Terrorist trying to cause in sabotage America by pretending to be a good Immigrant (except you are not killing people).

In my opinion i think what you are doing is wrong.

If there's any country where workers are oppressed, it's China. What do you propose to do about sweatshops and slave labor and re-education camps there? Not to mention Tibet...

Actually buddy Catholics are Christians. They are just another variant of Christianity like Protestantism, Orthodox, ect. We are all Christians even though we have a few different beliefs.

Sometimes i believe we have to sometimes use weapons against a physical threat (like Terrorists). Preaching Love to them will not work since they consider there religion (Islam) right and you as wrong. In the Qua ran (dont know if that is how you spell it) it says something about non-Muslims not being Innocent (i think). This is just my opinion.
