Maybe this is because it's the Christians who are doing the stinking?

Oh, of course it could also be because Jesus taught not to be judgmental.

However I don't think it's wrong to be critical of stinkers. Perhaps they don't know they stink and it would come as a revelation to them. Then they will mend their ways.
