Should I make a move?

Hello humans,

My best friend is dating this other girl who is not a christian... He is a christian and should know better. However he said he had feeling for me in the passed but I was not ready for a relationship then.

It's been two years now and I am ready for a relationship. And I am pretty sure he still like me because whenever we are together he always has a hand around my back.

However he has a girlfriend and if he is putting his arm around my back when he has a girlfriend maybe he is not ready for a relationship.

Should I tell him that I am interested in dating him? and that if he is not to stop being so physical with me? But I don't want to date him right away I want him to break up with his girlfriend then we can explore are relationship to see if it's something we both want and that it's something God wants.

I was ready to date him before he had a girlfriend so it's not like he got a girlfriend then I got jealous. Also He live 2 hours away from me. However I see him about twice a month and skype and write often.

Please give me some advice/ your opinion.

It's hard to say. What if him and her are happy? you wouldn't want to ruin that just for you to be happy. Cause he may not be happy with you as he is with her. Sure, it's ok to confess and say "yea i got feelings for you" but just assure that you will always be there for him. Thats what I think anyways
