Should I concerned??

I played in a volleyball game Friday night and took a hard spike to the face. It has been 2 days and it still feels like it happened 20 minutes ago. My eyes and left temple are still swollen and it hurts to chew. Should I be concerned?

I think it is worth having checked out. Maybe you have a nurse hot-line where you live and you could call them and ask. Better safe than sorry where your health is concerned. I'll say a prayer for you too.

No skin broke so I don't think it is infected but I will most definitely try and do something about it. I'm supposed to play after volleyball game tonight but I guess we'll see how it goes.

Could be a hairline fracture to an orbital or something. If you're in pain for more than a day or two, especially if the pain doesn't seem to lessen during that time, yes, you should be concerned, and yes, you should see a doctor.

Yes sure exercise caution...not infected then, however something could be wrong; sounds wrong.
