No. Because it is written:In order to understand sin you have to understand free will. We are given freedom of choice. If we did not have this freedom then we would be slaves.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. Romans 8
Of course Adam was made from the "dust" of the earth. You would have to deny Science to deny that: "Almost 99% of the mass of the human body is made up of six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. Only about 0.85% is composed of another five elements: potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. All 11 are necessary for life."Adam was made from the dust
I do not deny Genesis, not one iota, you are falsely accusing me. As far as where does sin come from, I do not know. I do not have an answer for every question you are ever going to ask because I am not God and ONLY God has all the answers. No flame or personal attack intended.
When one denies the accuracy of Genesis...which tell of the fall of Adam and Eve..then is asked to explain where sin and our sin nature came from...and refuses to explain why Genesis is wrong...I consider it a disregard for Genesis.
Genesis is written in plain language. There is no interpretation required. It means what it says.I have a question for those of you who base your interpretation of Genesis on Apostolic Tradition.
Genesis is written in plain language. There is no interpretation required. It means what it says.
This is a perfect example of someone who has elevated a scientific theory to become a religion.Well, you don't believe germs make us sick, you don't believe the earth orbits the sun, and you don't believe e=mc^2.
That is consistent with rejecting evolution as well.
You'll have to try again. Jesus taught that the Bible was the inerrant word of God. You're making things up to support your rejection of the Scriptures.Sola Scriptura, literal inerrancy, perspicuity, self-interpretability and plenary verbal inspiration.
There is no contradictions between Science and the Bible. This is all 100% testable using the haplotypes. I believe the day will come, perhaps soon, when they will be able to map out the whole family tree of the human race. Right now this is not fully understood so it is not as simple as it will be when they get it all figured out.Eve from Adam's rib
Sola Scriptura, literal inerrancy, perspicuity, self-interpretability and plenary verbal inspiration.
So the word: "sole" is not actually a word that is in the Bible? What is the meaning of the passage in Revolution where we are not to add to the words of the book or take away from them?Sola scriptura (Latin: by Scripture alone) is a Christian theological doctrine which holds that the Christian Scriptures are the sole infallible rule of faith and practice.
Ephesians 6: 11-12 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.Fellow Creationists,
Take heart! As I read earlier in this thread, our evolutionist believing colleagues have described us as being half-brained, mad, madmen, crazy,.....and various other disparaging terms.
This passage in Peter goes a long way toward explaining the Divine Nature we are to have. We are to have the Mind of Christ and the Divine thoughts of God.To understand sin, one needs to know what original sin is.
Just what are the "lies of evolution"? Is there something in the High School or College Biology textbook that you object to and that you do not think should be in those text books? Do you even have a copy of a college or high school Biology textbook? They only cost about $5 used. The lies of evolution will continue to ensnare many and will lead some to doubt and even distrust the word of God.
It is debated as to whether that phrase is intended for the revelation of Jesus to John, or the entire biblical scripture. I would play it safe and not add or remove anything. So the word: "sole" is not actually a word that is in the Bible? I tend to avoid words that are not in the Bible. It is enough to try to understand the words we have that are in the Bible. It is debated as to whether that phrase is intended for the revelation of Jesus to John, or the entire biblical scripture. I would play it safe and not add or remove anything.
Jesus' use of scriptures proves that He thought they are the authoritative word of God. What he thought of the creationist doctrine of literal inerrancy is not recorded. Paul's use of the scriptures also proves that he thought they are the authoritative word of God. It also appears from his writings that he thought Genesis was in a real sense historical, as did the early Church and most Christians today. But that is a long way from the Bible doctrine of the creationists and it is deceptive to impute it to them. You'll have to try again. Jesus taught that the Bible was the inerrant word of God. You're making things up to support your rejection of the Scriptures.
What you should be ashamed of is imputing it to the early Church and to non-Protestant Christians for self-serving rhetorical purposes. Why is this term "Sola Scriptura" tossed around like a bad word? Like it's something to be ashamed of?
That begins to sound like anti-Catholic bigotry. The fact is that the scriptures have always been available in any language that a significant number of Christians have been able to read. The fact that all scripture is God breathed was known long before it was kept from the people of this world by a corrupted church who used fear and manipulation to control the illiterate people of their congregations. Making it forbidden for the people to own or read the scriptures themselves.
Why would I condemn you for such sentiments, shared as they are by all Christians? But the truth of that statement does not require belief in the Bible doctrine of the creationists. So, condemn me, condescend me, ridicule me, mock me whatever you would like, for my belief that the canonized books of the bible are the living word of God and are to be understood as such.

The current monetary worth placed of the basic “elements” in an individual human body is $4.50. If you were to sell the organs they may be worth more money. (What do they call a convicted criminal in China? An organ donor.)
