that there is a huge amount of truth in your assertion. I am a Christian who has no desire to participate in even one Levitical ritual........ because at this time in my life i would have zero understanding of what to do or how to do it. I think I might be able to walk up to a modern Levite though and pass them a cage with a dove in it.................. or lead a lamb to him......... or a kid of the goats......... I might be able to handle something that simple.

Lots of Messianic Gentiles in the first century, before the time of the Bar Kochba revolt did this much........ and the effort was noticed by the Levites who began to study about Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus as a result.

Support? How so? Agreement? Financially?

The building of the Third Temple, is already prepared;
...meaning architectural drawings, design, artworks, down to Rabbi's clothing.

Issues:

Many Jews have become secular, and are void of interest in rebuilding the Temple.

Where to build the Temple. This is an ongoing dilemma process.
...It should be situated on the same place, where the holy of holies sat of the first TWO Temples.
...Should it sit, where the Muslim Mosque Dome currently sits?
...IF that be so, How to gain that ground, without WAR.
...No one knows for sure, yet research appears to dictate....
...The First and Second Temples, actually sat to the north of the current Dome.
...That the Dome, is sitting, on the outer court, built by Solomon, for the Gentiles, who could not enter
......the Temple.
...If the Jews, come to an agreement, to build the Third Temple, north of the Dome, a resolution
.....could be accomplish, and construction commence. Currently, their research continues.

And what about the Third Temple?
Yes, I believe it WILL be built.
And yes, like the former TWO, it shall be desecrated, and destroyed.

When the Temple IS BUILT, it shall be a sign of the beginning of the Tribulation.
...The "Universal" ie World Leader over all Nations, shall be revealed, and established.
...Once his position is accepted and established...
.....He will put himself in the Temple, claiming it as His Throne, and himself, as god.
.....Who shall believe and worship him?
.....Those who submit to him, by and through their own self- glory, ignorance and desperation.

So, it is a matter of, does one want to rush in the future, or let it play out according to Gods design.
And so to, Gods design involves what individuals choose to do. Some will participate in support of the Third Temple, some won't.

And the bottom line is ~
Christ's Kingdom on earth, shall NOT be built with men's hands, nor shall He sit in a desecrated Throne.

In 1974 Martin wrote the first of five editions of The Tithing Dilemma of which over 100,000 copies were sold. It was this work which triggered the first of many major schisms within the Worldwide Church of God.

Martin proposed a recalculation of the birth of Jesus in his books The Birth of Christ Recalculated (1978) and The Star that Astonished the World(1996). He argued that the "Star of Bethlehem" was the planet (or "wandering star" in antiquity) Jupiter, or Zedeq ("Righteousness") in Hebrew, leading the wise men to Jesus in Bethlehem on December 25, 2 BCE, coinciding with the Jewish Festival of Lamps or Hanukkah that year. Dr. Martin argued that the birth of Jesus happened on the evening of September 11, 3 BCE, which corresponds to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year on the first of Tishri on the Jewish calendar.[3]

In a 1996 draft report to support this theory Martin wrote: "I was then under the impression that Simon the Hasmonean (along with Herod a century later) moved the Temple from the Ophel mound to the Dome of the Rock area." However, after studying the words of Josephus concerning the Temple of Herod the Great, which was reported to be in the same general area of the former Temples, he then read the account of Eleazar who led the final contingent of Jewish resistance to the Romans at Masada which stated that the Roman fortress was the only structure left by 73 C.E. In my part of Guysborough County, Nova Scotia, near Sherbrooke, the difference from low tide to high tide is not much over one meter but from Truro to Pugwash the difference is fifteen to seventeen times more than that on a regular basis.

The Bay of Fundy funnels tidal waters.

Would an average rise in ocean levels of thirty centimeters, (one foot) result in high tides being up by fifteen to seventeen feet in Truro and Pugwash?

This is relevant to American living in New Orleans, New York, New Jersey and parts of Florida where already billions and billions of dollars are being spent to pump water out of subways.

I am advocating a rather brilliant plan by an online friend of mine name Sigmund Ivarsson who wants to connect his Petra Project with the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple.

Sigmund is promoting a nine meter wide tunnel from out in the Mediterranean Sea near Tel Aviv that will go over seventy kms to somewhere in the Jordan River Valley.

This tunnel will descend over 1200 feet and could have up to 21 hydro - electric generation facilities along it, (assuming that it is branched off into seven separate tunnels something like a menorah shape).

This tunnel could take roughly two hundred million cubic meters of sea water from the Mediterranean to the Dead Sea area annually......... which would be extremely good news to residents of Truro, Pugwash, New York, Miami, New Orleans and New Jersey.

Graphen screens may soon make it possible to mostly desalinate this water even before it flows down the tunnel.

The Petra Project will cause a boom in Jordanian agriculture and would be unlikely to be supported by the Israeli Knesset UNLESS.........
the government of Jordan puts pressure on the Islamic Waqf to support the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple to the Sanhedrin.........
which would make it possible for politically connected Orthodox Jews to put pressure on Israeli MK's to support this.

The rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple could also begin a large scale fulfillment of Isaiah 35 in the nation of Jordan that would represent a shift away from the silly Carbon Tax or Cap and Trade Systems being promoted by the political left.

Large scale desalination of ocean water for agriculture though is a response to the threat of rising ocean levels that we conservatives can become enthusiastic about.

I promoted this idea in my 2008 campaign for municipal office.

I lean toward the likelihood, the Dome currently occupies the land of the outer court of Solomon's Temple, thus the Dome does NOT occupy the land where the Temple was situated.

There are several news articles if you care to look on the web for Third Temple Jerusalem.

The knowledge of the Lord will fill the Earth. The drink offering (spiritually) will be fulfilled. As Paul considered himself being poured out as a drink offering by his speaking the truth, this will eventually be fulfilled as is brought up in Jer. 31. Interesting that the Ezekiel Temple daily sacrifice mentions no drink Offering:

Eze 46:13 Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the LORD of a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every morning.
Eze 46:14 And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a meat offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD.
Eze 46:15 Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering.

Now compare to this offering as commanded in Exodus 29:

Exo 29:38 Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
Exo 29:39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
Exo 29:40 And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.

No mention of the evening offering or the drink offering in the Ezekiel temple. The Ezekiel temple is the heavenly temple, which is the MORNING. Notice (pay special attention cause I'm showing you a great pearl) that in Exodus 29:41 that the pattern of the evening is to be done like the Morning. This caught my eye once as i was reading a Rashi Commentary, and it sparked in my mind that this is where a part of the Lord's prayer Christ spoke when He said: thy will, as it is done in heaven so it shall be done on Earth. The evening offering symbolizes the earthly, the morning is the heavenly.

The daily sacrifice foreshadowed the eternal sacrifice of Praise, and the continual doing of God's will (truth) forever. His will is according to the grain and drink offering, and of course, eventually, there will be no need to teach it. Joel warns that the grain and drink offering would be cut off from the house of the Lord:

Joe 1:8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
Joe 1:9 The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn.

Therefore, His will, it shall be done on Earth as it is done in Heaven for God is going to provide sufficient knowledge:

Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

The Altar is where the pleasure of the Lord is presented, and the Earth is to be that location, for His will is to be performed here on Earth as it is in Heaven. The Altar must have a fire burning in it:

Lev 6:12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
Lev 6:13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

The fire transforms offerings, provides light, and was commanded to be rekindled every morning. What spiritually could perform this role of God's will? The answer; the Spirit of Judgment:

Isa 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Zep 3:5 The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

The judgment light burns continually and provides light unto those who walk in the truth!

Zec 8:16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

Peace and truth go hand in hand and are inseparable. The daily sacrifice under the laws given to Moses foreshadowed the operation of the truth performed by the Christ. The abomination of desolation spoken by the prophet Daniel mentions that the TRUTH WOULD BE CAST DOWN:

Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

How could the truth be cast down and how does man become a part of the truth?

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2Th 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

This scripture confirms that the daily sacrifice was the location of where the truth was being performed up to God. This is a very important understanding. The burnt/truth offering and the peace offering had their fat(abundance) burned(revealed) here:

Jer 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

Christ came to execute the revealing power by giving the Spirit of judgment:

Joh 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
Joh 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

The judgment fire is commanded to be forever burning in the Altar:

Isa 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
Isa 42:4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Isa 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

And who are those who will dwell with the devouring fire but those who stand with Christ having suffered with him: They are the upright, purged by fire, the gold:

Psa 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Psa 1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

It was the judgment light that drew about the persecutions and afflictions from the ungodly:

As Christ was killed and resurrected in three days, His body, the church would be destroyed and raised in 3 millennial days:

Hos 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

God has revealed to me that the Earth is His Altar. Man is Earth in the small sense, and mankind in the large. The Earth is an Altar and upon the Earth is to be done there as it is in heaven:

Exo 20:24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.

Therefore, His will, it shall be done on Earth as it is done in Heaven for God is going to provide sufficient knowledge:

Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

I could be wrong....... but I have wondered if the three days plus three nights could indicate that the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven could occur around the year 3030 C. E?

Could the Ezekiel chapter 40 - 48 Jerusalem Temple Mount complex be built around 1000 years before this?

Yes... the Ezekiel Temple complex will be the New Jerusalem for one thousand years.......
but I do believe that something much grander will come down somehow around the year 3030, (three days from the death, burial and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua - Jesus - Issa).......

I don't put to much stock in time theories but there maybe something to your insight. The sabbath will bring a fulfillment to time, and I believe the 8th day will have a spiritual fulfillment, the spiritual fulfillment to circumcision when all flesh will be cut off and everything returns to God which will fulfill the Jubilee as well.

Hi Dennis:
I am familiar with the 6 mil. days in the bible, and we all want to be at the right place at the right time, so we search prophysies and look for understanding to lead us in the way.

The time of the end spoken of by Daniel brings us at a desolation taking place as referred to by Christ:

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand

Understand indeed, why? because this goes beyond external or empirical observation. Christ was not talking about an event taking place in the Jewish temple, but rather the abomination involving the TRUTH concerning himself:

Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

The truth through Christ is a Spiritual operation that is eternal and is the basis for performing the will of God. "Thy will shall be done on Earth as is done in Heaven." The sacrifice is the elimination of any other will contrary to God's. Example:

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This initiates by the establishment of faith which comes by the hearing of God's Word.
Paul said the time was coming when man would remove his ears from the truth:

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The bible speaks plainly that a falling away was coming:

2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

For an offering to be offered, there has to be a fire (light):

Psa 43:3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
Psa 43:4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

Christ gave reference to the above Psalm scriptures:

Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Joh 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

This bringing forth of the light is the execution of judgment for which is the manifestation of truth, that is; the things that make up the will of God:

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Zec 8:16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

That is what Christ came to do:

Joh 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
Joh 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

I know this is very spiritual and deep, and I try to write this as plain as possible:

Hab 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Was this Habakkuk writing to what Christ spoke concerning this:
