Should Christians support Jews in rebuilding of Third Temple?

Should Christians support Jewish control of Temple Mount and rebuilding of Temple?

  • Yes, I believe that every word in Ezekiel chapter 40 to 48 must be fulfilled.

  • No, doing this might speed up the time of the coming of the anti-Messiah!

  • Yes, King Cyrus was led by the God of Abraham and he supported this cause.

  • No, I believe that we should all be vegetarians and never kill animals.

  • Yes, our nation will be blessed if we bless the Jewish people.

  • No, this could lead to a war and human life is of more value than any temple!

An option is missing:

"No, we should not support people in idolatry".
Any kind of worship that does not have Jesus Christ as its center and star around which it revolves, is idolatry. Even Judaism.

But when an Orthodox Jew prays for Moshiach to be sent to the earth....doesn't Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua answer that prayer?

Matthew 7:7 ¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

King Herod built Ezekiel's Temple and it was destroyed in 70AD.

The Temple Mount was captured in the 6 day war and given back to the Arabs. There is no desire to build a Jewish Temple.

If the Temple was built and Jesus sat as messiah, it would destroy Christianity. Jesus is building His Temple within the bodies of Christians.

Acts 7:48 God will not dwelt in a house built with human hands.

He came already. The Messiah HAS come, and we're now waiting for His return.
When rabbinical Jews pray for the coming of the Messiah, they are:
1 - Praying to an idol (because their worship isn't centered on the Messiah)
2 - Praying for something that already HAS come to pass.

Matthew 7:7 ¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Without relevance in this matter. If I ask for a bazooka so I can blow up the house of someone I don't like, I am not going to get it (at least not from God, and I don't want anything from the other guy). Of course I'd never ask for something like that, but the point is, that "Ask, and it shall be given you" is regulated by "according to His will". God is not a cosmic slot machine.

The rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple would decrease anti-Semitism within Christianity, because even now it is astonishing how many levels of meaning can be explained by some of the Christian theologians who study each of the Jewish festivals and rituals and pray for guidance as to exactly what each ritual means for Christians.

Do a search for Joe Amaral, First Century Foundations to get an idea of what I mean by this!

I am having a little trouble here copying from the PDF file of Sid Roth's book The Incomplete Church but I highly recommend reading the first two pages of chapter 2.

The restoration of the nation of Israel, the regathering of the lost tribes of Israel AND THE REBUILDING OF THE JERUSALEM THIRD TEMPLE are the three things that the Rabbis have taught must happen before the Messiah comes?!

Why would God issue an instruction when His purpose was to make people His new temple?

John
NZ

Excellent question Johnnz!

I believe that a Christian can have would could be termed a Cyrus state of mind if they realize that God has plans that He is working out with the Jewish people and plans that God is working out in all people that it is impossible for any human being to even begin to comprehend!

Jews have a different role than us Christians....but I believe the prophecy in Zechariah 14 that when representatives from the USA are sent to honor the Festival of Tabernacles in Jerusalem....the USA will be given rain at the right time.....My question would be.....how many people should be sent for the criteria to be met for this to happen?!?!

I guess that is a question for our children and grandchildren to face though?!

If it's a dream, not from God, then that mean the Bible has errors.

Exactly! For a Christian to say that the book of Ezekiel is just a dream that will not happen is to disregard what Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua clearly taught regarding the fulfillment of all the prophecies of God...both bad....in the crucifixion...but good in the restoration of Israel and the whole world soon!

Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

I don't give a flying fiddlestick about what "the rabbis" (which ones, btw?) think. I do give plenty of fiddlesticks about what the Bible teaches...

Ok, read Isaiah 66, the first six or seven verses and please explain to me how the voice of the LORD could be heard from the temple.....if there is no temple??????

Isaiah 66 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
