Should Christians interact with Gays at all?

First of all why do you have to chose between creationism and evolution. My belief is God used evolution as him means of creating the world and all of its life. Look closely at the book of Genisis and the order of creation is very similar to that found in evolution with man last. Are you familar with the Babylonian creation story? If you read the Babylonian creation story you will see it parallels that found in the book of Genisis. Tradition tought that Moses wrote the book of Genisis but many scholars today doubt that to be the case. Regardless of its origion it is striking how similar the stories found genisis is to the one found in Babylonia.

I think we need to stop trying to make homosexuals some special utlra sin. Its not! Homosexuals are not all a bunch of evil people lurking around corners to get you. They are from my experience dealing with then honest,friendly,hard working, tax paying, loving, contributing members of society, and they deserve to be left to enjoy their liberty, just like all of us! In fact the only difference I notice with the gays and lesbians I have know is they sleep with someone of their own sex. Thats it. I have friends who are gay and lesbian ...big deal they not evil.

Homosexuals should be accepted or rejected in society based upon the same objective standard applied to everyone of us..how do we treat others. If a man/woman treats me well and is willing to be my friend...I am willing to be theirs and that means not telling them who to sleep with and who not to sleep with..thats none of anyones business but theirs!

How fascinating that Christians are demanded to shut up about the way they live their lives, but people that engage in gay sex can speak to children in schools from kindergarten to senior about that.

Sex acts should not be a minority classifer and if GLBT's lived their lives as out of the schools as is demanded of Christians (no pun obviously), then this strife between the two wouldn't have ever been at issue.

I think the reason the schools are teaching about homosexuality is because there are a few suicidal deaths taking place by homosexual teens because of bullying and hatred of one's self ect. There have also been a few murders of homosexual teens as well. I guess the school are trying to prevent this from happening.

I can tell you from personal experience that Christians generally just don't even accept the idea of someone being intersex. No kidding, I have had several Christians say to me things like "God doesn't make mistakes like that."

I've always wondered the same; I think they're only allowed to marry if they marry one of the opposite of the gender behavior they exhibit; but then again, there might not be any laws or rules pertaining to it.

You have been shown time and again that gay people are not speaking to kids in school as you continually like to say.

And again homosexuality is about far more than the sex act just as heterosexuality is and yes they should be classified as a minority which they are. The only thing that is taught is that they should not be discriminated against, sounds like a very good thing to me but I guess you are just worroed that your kids are not strong enough so they may be converted ot thet awful butt secks.

And kids can and do have Christian clubs, pray silently in class and take their bibles to school so you have Christianity in school.

Actually yes; As a fund raiser for my fraternity we decided itm ight be fun to do what we called "tuck ins" where for a small donation we would have a fraternity member go to the sorority houses where we'd give them milk and cookies and read them a bed-time story. Corny as heck, I know, and it didn't even raise more than ten bucks. We spent more on cookies than we made. lol But anyway, once Jael Phelps (one of Fred's grand daughters) found out about this, she emailed our president and told him how we were all going to hell and stuff. She quoted a bunch of bible verses to justify her claims, turning our innocent little fund raiser into a demonically influenced cash scam. I traded emails with her, and well, lets just say her outside ugliness doesn't compare to how ugly she is on the inside.

Bunk. I'm as conservative a Christian that has ever stood up against the bullies here, and a transexual is thought of by every Christian I have ever interacted with (which is many hundreds) as a very disturbed person that is handled with the utmost respect and compassion.

Gays, Lesbians and of course "Bi-Sexuals" are a very different kind of issue.

Many teens are commiting suicide these days. Why not focus on the why of that and deal with bullying with the assualt laws already on the books. There are more kids killed by gang violence many times over than because someone doesn't like the way they have sex.

Yeah. That right there proves it is Dark Age thinking, what with me advocating torture for those that disagree with me.

Christians live in fear of reprisals in most public and private colleges these days. Soulforce is even attacking Christians in their private schools to accept gay culture or be labeled a bigot, homophobe and this newest neologism a spiritual hater. GLBT's sure appear to want complete rule and even in the spiritual realm as well. Go to the Soulforce website and see for yourself.

Sexual "intercourse" is anatomically, biologically and physiologically impossible between same-gender mammals. But, if you disagree with homosexuality as a normal and equal sex act to what opposite gender individuals do sexually, you are immediately attacked. Science supports the opposition to normalizing gay sex, but you see the opposite reaction from those promoting the GLBT culture.
