Should a Christian bother with posterior firming exercises?

We're getting a new body, right? So I ask myself, why, znr, why bother keeping this one firm?

On the other hand, if I completely neglect my body to the extent that it becomes obvious I just don't care about health, then what sort of witness is that? I'm probably going to settle on posterior firming 3 to 5 days a week.

Any advice before I start working out?

Blech, too unseemly. Someone might get the wrong idea.

Don't sweat it. My coworker does them at work all day. She leans against the counter and kicks back. I asked her what she was doing and she told me. She said its what strippers do to look good so she does it too. For awhile she was a server at a strip club, but she didn't strip. She had to quit that job when her bf said he didn't want her working there anymore.

They keep giving her a paycheck? Are they hiring?

How do they estimate how much she worked doing her job versus how many hours she wasted doing donkey kicks? Fascinating. If this is minimum wage, I am not interested. I need at least $30 / $40 hourly range to survive.
They pay her for the hours she works. Sometimes she goes home early with the brown bottle flu.

I think you shouldn't work your posterior too hard. Be kind.

"tub tubs."

I rebuke the tub tubs in the name of cheeses.
It s good to have a nice body too...glorify God in everything you do. Including how you take care of your body and maintain it...God doesn't want us to be fat or tub tubs.

She doesn't do the donkey kicks all day and she makes around $10 an hour.

How do you know? Maybe God loves more when there is more to love.

Taking care of your body is good stewardship of the Lord's resource. Eat healthily, exercise effectively.

But concentrate on performance, not physique. A low resting heartrate is far more important than a small waist.

I remember Bev Francis back then. She was the only woman on the bodybuilding circuit taking steroids back in the early 80s--and could not win Ms Olympia because of her size.

Back then, the women who won Ms Olympia would be considered "fitness models" today. It was in 1984 that women taking steroids began to win the competition, starting with Corey Everson. You could compare Corey's 1983 photos with her 1984 photos and tell she had started the 'roids--not even an 18-year-old boy can naturally pack on that many pounds of muscle in one year.

A lot of women like Carla Dunlap got out of bodybuilding over that.

Our body is the Lord's temple. There are many reasons to keep fit and healthy. I think the question is.... where is the line between healthy pursuit of a healthy body and mind and the slippery slope to being fanatic and overly concerned with self, vanity and pride in your outward appearance.

I work out and it helps me get better sleep, deal with stress, improves my immune system, is a step to living a longer life, keeps me in a better state to enjoy physical activities with my kids, helps me at my work, decreases the number and severity of my head aches and generally overall.... I feel so much better.

However, my workouts take a back seat to family functions, worship, work, family commitments, financial limitations and commitments and marital concerns.

Hope this helps.
