What does the greek word aionion mean? eternal or age-enduring or both. If aion means age, then how can its adjective mean anything but pertaining to the age. How can it mean eternal?

Did the lawyer want "life to the age" or "eternal life"? Luke 10:25

Do believers receive "life to the age" or "eternal life"? John 3:15

Did the Jews think they had "life to the age" or "eternal life" through the Scriptures? John 5:39

Do those who drink Christ's blood have "life to the age" or "eternal life"? John 6:54

Did Jesus have the words of "life to the age" or the words of "eternal life"? John 6:68

Do those mentioned in Rom 2:7 receive immortality and "life to the age" or immortality and "eternal life"?

In your quest to twist the Scriptures and make torment temporary you have also made salvation temporary! Way to go! (sarcasm)

If you look up aion and aionios you will see that their meanings are heavily determined by context.
Eternal is a possible meaning of aionios, but not the only meaning.

If you want to make your head spin, look up the meanings of the preposition en in the lexicon.
