This is the thread where we can discuss shows that ran for three seasons or less. Some you might think were really good and should have been given a chance. Others, in your eyes, might be complete turkeys, they were so goofy, unwholesome, etc.

Promised Land was supposed to be the spin-off of Touched By an Angel. It was a great family show, and shouldn't have been cancelled so soon.

Firefly! So much potential, but I suppose it was too much of a bizarre concept to appeal to the general public (sci-fi western).

Grosse Point. Does anyone remember this? I thought it was hilarious, but apparently nobody else thought so as t only lasted half a season.

Roswell. Even though it went for three seasons, which is quite good compared to some shows, I think it deserved at least another season.

Kindred: The Embraced. Even though Aaron Spelling was involved, I quite liked it, and wanted more.

Earth 2. I thought that this was a great show.

I liked Miracles and Joan of Arcadia too.

Firefly was an incredible show. I'm glad that Joss Whedon was able to get the cast together to do the Serenity movie and bring some closure to the series, though there are still more things left unresolved.

Arrested Development lasted three seasons, but if it had had more support from the network with advertising, it could have lasted more. I mean, the show won tons of awards, but Fox was more concerned with shows like Stacked and the War at Home to really give it a good chance.

Wonderfalls was one of my favorites as well. Not only was it an all-around cool concept for a show, but the acting and cinematography were terrific. Only 3 episodes aired before it was pulled, which is sad because I really wish more could have been revealed about the characters.

Freaks and Geeks was another great show that ended too soon. Actually, pretty much any show that Judd Apatow was involved in ended too soon - that includes The Ben Stiller Show and Undeclared as well.

Stella was one of the strangest, quirkiest comedies I've ever seen, but it was actually funny, which is more than I can say for most of what Comedy Central airs.

Those are the ones that come to mind.

The Charmings was a comedy that lasted only for about a season or two. It was supposed to be about Snow White and Prince Charming's family after they got married.

There was also the Torkelsons....

...and Two of a Kind, with the Olsens.

I was suprised to find out that the original Kolchak: The Night Stalker with Darren McGavin only lasted one season.

That was one of my favorite shows growing up!! I bought the DVD boxed set of that one season and had the fun of reliving them all with our kids.
