So you wrote that? That was very beautiful.... and it was cause I've been there before so it was easy to relate.

I am dreaming of a deeper tomorrow
where my moments can rest in peace
and all the thoughts that ail me
can fade as urgings cease

I'm searching for an end to thought
to delete the broken hopes
I'm braiding the strands of confusion
and hanging to the end of my rope

It's time for God to carry me
Past things that fog my mind
It's time for life to move me onward
And the rest is left behind

I seem to learn when I'd rather wait
and wait when I'd rather learn
Does everyone feel this way?
Or are these lone strivings I yearn?

I wonder when I'm sleeping
and also when I'm awake
I try to find the pieces
But all I do is break

Perhaps today I'll find some sense
And his child, God will embrace
nothing else which truly counts
I just want to seek his face.

thanks. I hardly consider random thoughts much of poetry or the best of what I can do. I think I was just bored and felt like typing some words of what I was feeling and it someohow became readable. Imagine that.
