  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I believe there was already a thread on this... but oh well...

I wasn't going to see this movie at first, but I had time to waste so I saw it the day it came out.... I expected it to be one of those

Stupid, pointless films that all have the same stupid cliche ending....

But it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (doesn't mean it was good;) )...

It was a typical teen romantic comedy. Although, Bynes is just never believable as a guy, really, but she's got so much confidence she very nearly bluffs her way through...

I mean, as a guy, Bynes got pretty annoying early in the film. It seemed like she was allowed to do anything and declare it funny, something that really only works for people like Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. However, when she’s given limits in the film, she shines.

The supporting cast has its moments as well. Vinnie Jones makes a great play as the girls soccer coach, and Julie Hagerty is hilarious as Viola’s mother.

Of course, the stand-out comedy comes from David Cross as the square headmaster of the school. :)

Those scenes weren't bad at all....

Overall, it was entertaining... if you like those types of films, but it was nothing special.

Oh yeah, and isnt the movie a remake of “Just One of the Guys,” which was a 1980s update on “Twelfth Night"????

And for some reason this movie reminds me of "10 Things I Hate About You."

I LOVED it! I thought it was hilarious! Escpecially a certain girly party. Everyone probably know what I'm talking about. That cracked me up!

I loved it when she was like, "Why your hot!?"
"WHAT!?"
"Ermm, I mean uhhh, your an appealing guy...um man...uh guy-man."

I was wondering if it was. That is what the commercials reminded me of. I will probably end up taking my daughters to it in a couple of weeks.
