When that God-given desire to understand a world designed by God produces results that go contrary to God's written word, then those results can take a hike.I don't understand this comment. Consequentialism is not how we argue for any proposition. It is a fallacy.
As Christians we are given a world designed by God and also given the desire to understand that world. Newton was famous for this approach. Why avoid the discussion by tieing evangelism to a particular scientific inference about how life diverged?
This seems like bumper sticker theology. But it was cute.
