This questions probably seems silly. My husband and I attended our first ELCA church today. We both grew up in Baptists churches but feel we are being led to make a change. Anyway, the church we went to had a time where people turned to each other and said, "peace be with you." I know when the pastor says that, you answer with, "and also with you." What do you say in response to the individuals who come up and say that to you? We didn't know how to respond.
The Baptist churches have a similar part of worship, but we just call it a greeting time where we say hello, or hug, or whatever.
Thanks!
