CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks NG. Yes, I find it pleasant to relax here. It's cooler than the back patio, and usually catches a breeze coming off the ocean. Love your bush photos though!
Out walking the streets this morning, I took a photo of the other side of the fence when I got home...I find it personally appealing too, as far as suburbia goes, but it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea! I prefer the bush or the sea though.

Yes, springtime and getting closer to summer when we start whining every day about how hot it is. The place has a peaceful character to it, but I much prefer the forests and the bay or ocean.

Thank goodness the snow thrower started right up. It was wet and heavy. If it was powdery like we often get I’d do 3” with a shovel.

Could do with a bit of that down here this weekend tho. 37c (circa 99f) and not even into summer. But does drop back down to a respectable 29c (84f) by midweek.
