  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In what way are they not working for you? I'm not arguing, but what you mean by "work" may not be what I mean. If you explain a bit, people are more likely to be able to help you.

Shampoo basically cleans hair - is your hair not clean after using it? I tend to get dandruff (and a really dry scalp), but medicated shampoos like Head & Shoulders (& the generics) do fix that for me.

For conditioner, I just need something to de-tangle my wet hair. Again, most of them work well enough for that. If I blow dry, my hair looks shiny; if I don't it looks rough.

So what do you want these products to do for you?

I've gone through many and have great hair and softness using Ojon.Expensive.Sorry. I find sometimes quality ingredients cost a bit more.I bleach slightly so need the oils. I also use Biosilk on my hair, the oil. Many here have mentioned to me. I got it at Sams for a decent 3 pak price.

Tresemme....I dunno if that is available in America...but it's a salon brand sold at a supermarket price in Australia. It's pretty good. Does the job...doesn't build up. But for spoiling myself I use Victoria's Secret So Sexy....smells SO sexy :D and you only need the smallest amount for a massive lather...I love that lol.

I can say...redkens all soft -not so great after a few weeks using..and now liking the shampoo and conditioner from crabtree & evelyn. It's sea something, got it first as hotel sample out in LA and ordered it online. I love it. Refreshing and makes my hair bounce so nicely I've stopped straightening unless I want to change style.

What do you use and why? I have been trying many different brands but tend to go cheap and havent found any that work really well.

There's not 50 cents difference in most of em & Suave works just fine!
