Just take a look at this comment section, yeah?

NF is one of the only rappers I listen to. I love his music, because he's very open and honest about what he's going through--and he's obviously going through a lot--and aside from that, he's a Christian.

Is he anywhere near the level of some holy priest or saint? Probably not, I don't know. But this comment section is just...shameful. Full of Christians judging him and calling him backslidden for not making every single song about God, even though he's clearly going through a difficult time, especially spiritually, and needs the love and support that we, as Christians, are supposed to show. Someone even said he had a false conversion. What is this? Am I not allowed to draw now because I don't draw pictures of Jesus all day? Is my art also meaningless unless religious imagery is not present on every page? Am I wasting the talent God so graciously gave me because my work is not 'kingdom' worthy?

I post about this kind of thing a lot. Maybe it's because, like my last post clarifies, things are getting to me lately. I thought I had things figured out in the past, but every day I find more and more reason to be disgusted with the state of mankind--both the religious and nonreligious.

It's a good thing NF is making music for the unsaved and not for the religious folk; there's no pleasing them.

Yes, Jesus wants us to have compassion for people who are having problems.

And people with problems include ones who do not have compassion. I have been so busy with criticizing everyone, that I totally missed how I was not loving anyone.

So, I would say pray for him and the commentators, and care about all of them.

Here is a scripture which has helped me get over my conceit >

"He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness." (Hebrews 5:2)

Yes, I still need help.

Sounds like a cool dude...I never heard of him until this thread, but will definitely check out his music and post here:

What are you listening to right now? (24)

It is sad that he says that he really doesn't talk to God, but I understand his reason why. Sometimes we have to go beyond our own reasons and just reach out like a needy child.

He said he doesn't like to talk to God, because he feels like he only does it through difficult times. Well, he should tell this to God and He will guide him.

He does seem pretty humble and transparent.

Thanks for sharing!

The comment section of YouTube is the definition of toxic. Best to tune it out. Morons who do not listen to truth or reason exist, and that is where they live. This is whether they are atheists or Christians or Muslims or Neo-Pagans or whatever other faith or worldview you can think of.
