A new book by Protestant author Aaron Renn offers strategies of how to live in a culture where Christianity is viewed negatively
I welcome Brian Smith, senior program officer at the Liberty Fund and a contributing editor at Law & Liberty, and the author of a book, Walker Percy and the Politics of the Wayfarer.
We turn to an essay he's writing about a book that I have not read, so I depend upon Brian's presentation.
However, the book is compelling to me because it's about Christianity right now, Christianity between 1960 and right now, and what is to be done.
Publishing at Civitas Outlook, which is part of the Civitas Institute, University of Texas at Austin. Brian comes to Mr. Renn's argument in his new book about the positive, neutral, and negative worlds of Christianity.
The author is Aaron Renn, and the book is Life in the Negative World: Confronting Challenges in an Anti-Christian Culture.
We begin, however, with the need for definition. What is it that Mr. Renn believes is a positive world, a neutral world, and a negative world for Christianity over the last 60 plus years?
