Good evening
So I am just curious about this as I have been led to believe that Seventh Day Adventists (SDA) are comparable to Jehovah's Witness' or the Latter Day Saints.
Is there any truth to this? Can this claim be accurate? Because I know that JWs and LDS do not hold to Sola Scriptura, however I have read the basic beliefs of the SDA church on their website and it seems pretty sound to me with regards to who Christ is. The only discrepancies I came across was with their eschatology, mainly soul sleep and annihilationism. Though with keeping Saturday as the Sabbath day was not, in my view relevant to my internal debate.
Could anyone therefore advise me, could a Baptist attend a service one Saturday at an SDA church without compromising his faith in the Lord? Does the SDA church hold to an "exclusive" form of salvation like the Catholic church does in which there can only be salvation found within it's sect?
