Plot: Ten years have lapsed since the seven seals were scattered throughout the land. Different races guarded the seals, each hidden in a secret location. Supposedly, the seals prevented the devil from influencing the world, but increasing signs of chaos told a different tale. The seals themselves appeared to be weakening, and several have been lost. Wars broke out. People gave in to their desires. Hatred, anger, fear and jealousy surfaced, and every race was susceptible to the lure.
The only way to resist the evil was to get close to the Christian God, who along all else has been a call to His lost people. Some responded, while others rejected Him. Those who accepted were mobilizing their forces, while a few individuals had the task of finding the seven seals so that they could be replaced, and forged anew.
____________________________________________________________

Ok, just a few things: the characters don’t necessarily have to stick together, hopefully this should allow some space for plot expansion and get rid of writer’s block problem.
You can use as many characters you like, major and minor alike.
The seal will be found when you wish it to be found, just don’t make it too soon. You can also start with one seal (that’s one seal person player). As to seal distribution, we’ll work it out as it goes.

This’s a fantasy medieval rpg, so magic is allowed, incorporated into the Christian idea. It’s gonna be good vs evil magic, along with Godly intervention. For example, the character feels a murderous rage but the Holy Spirit turns it into forgiveness.

Hope this isn’t too much infor to put off anyone.
Enjoy.

thanks for joining, cya soon.
it's sort of like the kind of magic that Arannte has, except it's not evil in this thread.

for my character, elemental skill means elemental magic, she can control the elements, to some extent. Basically, it's fantasy.

Name: Clise Ledren
Age: Optional
Race: Human
Clan: Dragon host
Skills: healing and elemental skills
Weapons: a long thin curved knife carried on the back
Appearance: Garbed in a comfortable robe and trousers, she wore steady leather boots. She had dark hair held back by a silver cord and eyes the colour of the grey fur of a wolf.

Two dragons flew overhead, their shadows moving rapidly across the ground. Grabbing hold of the rein, Clise mounted the horse with a little difficulty. This time she managed to mount from the right side of the horse, her leg still ached from where the horse has kicked her. Nudging the mount with a leg, the horse sped after the dragons. Attaining the rank of Skyrider only recently, Clise was not allowed to follow her brother into battled, who was in charge of the dragon host this side of the world.
As she neared the camp, several people laughed outright, and the one on guard duty waved her in with a vicious smile. Giving him a glare, she rode towards the middle of the camp. Her horse was walking along sedately, its ears twitching. Everything seemed to be fine when suddenly, the horse snorted, tossed its mane and jumped wildly. Unable to hang on, Clise was thrown from the saddle, and she hit the ground in all four. The horse bolted.
Klaze was instantly at her side, and he pulled her up gently. There was a frown on his face, but suppressed mirth radiated from him. Shaking his hand away, Clise saw someone has already secured the horse and was leading it away from the dragons, whom, having smelt the horse, gave it a disconcerted look and went back to their naps.

“You’ve done it this time, Clise Ledren. Next you’ll be trying to ride a cow!” a young Skyrider yelled. The crowd that had grown into a considerable size since her arrival broke into laughter.

“Don’t you have better things to do?” Klaze called out, his voice reproachful. As quick as the commotion began, the crowd dispersed. Hurriedly, Klaze herded Clise into a tent. Then his face split into a huge smile.
“Stop it!” Clise said annoyingly, stomping her foot.
“You wouldn’t have arrived in a better style,” Klaze beamed and he poured tea into two small cups.
Clise took one, “You know the rule, this’s the only way I can reach you.” Eyes blazing, she watched him with intensity, “It’s a trap, Klaze.”

Character: Peaceful Hart
Age: 20ish
Gender: female
Race: human
Skills: has direct access to God through her relationship with Christ, and a discerning spirit which helps her know the will of God and the right thing to do.
Weapons: non-reactive to violence, won't initiate violence or use violence to defend herself. Her weapons are the Sword of the Word, her access to God, and the angels which protect her.
Costume: jeans and a t-shirt, except when it's cold,then she puts on a sweatshirt. :D
Occupation: evangelist. She travels from village to village telling people how to be saved from the evil that is invading the world.
Temperment: She's very passionate, yet never commits violence.

Peaceful Hart looked up into the sky, squinting at the bright sun, to see the flying dragons overhead.

She always marvelled at the people who could tame the vicious, powerful creatures and make them into little more than scaly, giant horses. Peaceful never rode a dragon, but she did ride a common horse once or twice, and loved the feeling of the muscular animal's gallop. With her legs, she could feel the massive muscles of the beast as they pushed its body across the landscape. What freedom horses have!

Peaceful had given up the hope of ever owning a dragon or even a horse. In her dreams she still longed for the wind in her hair, but her present path did not lend itself to horse ownership. She had no money to buy a horse, and many of the roads she travelled would be impossible for a horse to navigate. Her mission took her to dangerous places where the horse might be killed for food or for sport.

But her love of God kept her on this mission. So many people were powerless against the evil, and Peaceful had found the way to make them impervious to the powers of evil. She had to travel around, showing as many people as possible how to receive and use the power.

'Where is Clise?"
"There," someone one pointed at the dust made by the horse in the distance.
"Should we go after her?"
"She's out of our hands now."
----
*Flashback*

"The order is clear. There's nothing i can do, except to take caution." Klaze said.
"You believe me?" Clise said incredulously, "Then why....."
"Each one of us has a duty to do, little one."
"But,"
"And i expect no less from you, Liah, make sure she remains here."
"Don't worry, I'll take care of her while you're gone."

*End Flashback*
----

Clise pulled on her rein and watched in horror as the dragons blasted out with their flame, but their blasts were signs of agony and the riders looked around desperately, soothing their mounts with a singsong voice.
Running forward, Clise placed a hand on the side of the wounded dragon where blood gushed out and splashed her hand red. The tough dragon hind began to heal.
"What happened?" she called up.
The rider shouted from above, while shooting with his bow, "It was an ambush, the dwarves have some sort of powerful bow and they have hidden bombs around. They never intended to the negotiation." The dragon reared up in stength.

Clise darted away from the dragon, "Where's Klaze?"
The rider shook his head as he discovered who he was talking to, "He's up ahead, you won't be able to help."

The roaring of other dragons drowned out her reply, and lumps of earth spilled into the sky. Some trees caught fire, and Clise felt she was on fire also. Abandoning the horse, her long legs carried her forward, towards where the heart of the ambush was.

Daniel ran through the corn field, a smile permenantly drawn on his face. He ran through the lawn, and up the steps ino his house.
"Mom!"
"I'm in the kitchen."
Daneil ran into the kitchen.
"Mom, this letter just came from Sir Robin of Locksley."(Yes, Kookaburra and Blessed One. I'm using the same Robin from The Road to the Grail add-on. :))
"Really?" 21 year old Janwah took the letter, opened and read it. Inside of it were two letters. One adressed to her, the other adressed to Daniel. She handed Daniel his, and started to read hers.

Janwah,
I don't want to bring back unwanted memories, but I just had to write you. I haven't been able to get my mind off of you ever since I left home last Spring. I know this sounds pathetic, but I keep having this bad feeling that something bad is going to happen to you. Please take my advice and write back to me as soon as you read this letter. And please write to me every day, and be sure to put the date so that I'll know you've written every day. If something happens, good or bad, please tell me about it. I don't want anything bad to happen to you, or to Daniel in thease dangerous times. Please, please do this for me.
*~All my love, Robin of Locksley

Jan put down the letter. She noticed another page. She pulled it out.
*~Love*~
I don't know how it happened,
It took me by suprise.

One morning I woke up,
And instantly thought of you.
I walked among a feild of flowers,
Wet with morning dew.
I tried to think of sunshine,
I tried to think of things brand new,
I tried to think of birds and bees,
But I could only think of you.
I never thought that it would happen,
I never though it would come true,
Please don't don't jump to any conclusions,
But I do beleive that I'm in love with you.
I know this may seem sudden,
You may not think it's true,
I never beleived in 'Love at first sight',
But everything changed when I saw you.
Your exsactly what I wished for,
I can't beleive that you came true,
I didn't think you would appear,
But I didn't have a clue.
So when I'm walking all alone,
And when the flowers drink the morning dew,
I hope that as I think of home,
I can walk with you.

*~By, Robin of Locksley, To Janwah Calak.~*

Jan put down the poem. She felt tears rising in her eyes. She wiped her eyes, and read the poem again and again. She imediatly went to her desk, and wrote back to Robin, and gave her letter, along with one that Daniel had written, to the mail carrier.

Just so you know, I wrote that poem just now. :)

DARRIONS, did you write that poem? it's lovely.
----

She stumbled onto a scene of confusion.

Two dragons were attempting to fly, but the dwarves were hammering at them from all sides. The riders kept shooting arrows, but soon the dwarves were climbing onto the back of the creatures, shouting their war cries as they pludged their axes into the riders. There was nothing she could do. Snapping her eyes away from the scene, she continued to run, staying away from the melee as far as she could, so that she wouldn't be spotted.

In the sky, three dragons were hovering in a circle, their riders directing with a whistle and flame emerged from the dragons' mouths to scorch those below, who were trying to set up a huge catapult. Clise didn't hesitate, and she headed towards that direction.

Just as well, for the dragons were protecting their wounded ocmrade who happened to be their leader, Klaze. Klaze's dragon was bleeding badly from a dozen wounds and the rider himself has been thrown off the back of the dragon, along with two dwarves who managed to climb up by the tail, he now laying unconscious a few distance off at the bottom of a tree. The enemies were intented on the larger threat, and no one gave him a second glance. That was how his sister found him, eyes closed, face pale with a wounded side. The wound looked fatal.

Struggling to lift Klaze, Clise pulled him a little way away from the battle. When the dragon died, they probably would become the next target. Laying Klaze down gently on the dusty ground, Clise reached out to touch the large wound.... suddenly, a hand shot up and grabbed her wrist, and she looked down to see her brother eyeing her with a small grin on his face, his eyes were bright from exhaustion.

"Don't...." he said weakly.
"Klaze, there's no time," Clise said in a firm tone and she tried to bend his fingers away, but he only tightened his grip. Blood spilled out as he coughed.
"You'll be fine in a minute," she reassured.
"I've to go," Klaze said in a whisper, "Too many... dead..... coz.. of me."
Clise stared at him in astonishment, "You worry about this now, Klaze Ledren? What's more important than your life?" she exclaimed, but he held on with all his might.
"Go home...... you shouldn't.... have.... come."
A tear slided unbidden down her check, and she shook with anger. "To hell with the dragon code!" she spit, and reached down to Klaze's side.
Klaze's eyes blazed, and his grip made her wrist hurt. He looked at her with such intensity that her hand dropped away hesitantly, his eyes were commanding like his old self; and that, was the last act of her brother, refusing her to heal him, even unto death.

Age: 24
Sex: Male (of course)
Side: I?m a good guy ok, despite my appearance hahahaha
Race: Human
Clan: Crusaders of the Eyre
Skills: Battle skill
Weapons: A black blade forged in the caves of Eyre, slightly curved with the insignia of Eyre branded at the hilt
Appearance: Wearing a comfortable traveling cloak with hard boots. He had shoulder length dark hair with sharp, piercing orange eyes.

Aridol stood on the broken walls of the ruined city of Caracarn and surveyed the scene below him. He nodded in satisfaction as his armies methodically hunted down any enemies that were still hidden in the city. The battle was not long, as the bulk of the armies of Eyre hammered Caracarn in one blow. However, his lips tightened when he realized that his conquest had inflicted more damage in Caracarn as needed.
*Oh well, it?s a city full of evil people anyway *. Aridol thought.
Caracarn, a city that has pledged its heart to the Devil was only one of many cities that needed to be cleaned off. Aridol had already saved all the people who had turned back to the light, but those who refused, he had no choice but to dispose them.

Aridol suddenly felt tired as he mentally recalled the map of the world. The world had virtually split into half. There are still many cities need to be liberated. He sighed.

Yes, Blessed-One. I wrote it. Thanks for the compliment! :)

Over the next couple of weeks, Jan wrote to Robin every day, just as he'd requested. She kept all of the letters in a desk droor, and she read them all at least twice a day. His words were so poetic and meaningful, she was compelled to write a verse or two of her own in her letters. And in return, he would send her another poem. Soon, they were exchanging love letters.

Dear Robin,
Thank you for your letters. Your words mean more to me than you know. I can never express my deepest graditude to you. Your letters have helped me think of others, instead of only thinking of myself. I hope this explains what I mean better.

Words

I try to explain my feelings,
With more than just plain words,
But I find myself confused,
My words, they have no meanings.
My feelings need to get to you,
So much needs to be said,
But what I say is all mixed up,
And yet I know what's true.
I try to find words to renue,
My mixed up thoughts and emotions,
I guess what I'm trying to say,
Is that I love you too.

~Janwah Calak

I wrote that poem too!

Freezia clung to the feathers of her eagle in one hand, as she turned her head to see her friends waving goodbye as she embarked on the journey to her family's resting place, amid the massacre site.
As the eagle shot across the sky, she let herself relax, and she smiled at her steed, who's head was cocked at a slight angle as he rose on the wind currents to preserve energy.
She patted his silver feathers and smiled at the recollections of when she'd first seen Zanxi, and had insisted on having the abnormally silver bird and swifter than most. instead of the normal gold one. That had stood her in good stead, because Zanxi was of an older race of eagle, and a different strain made him stronger
She let her legs dangle off either side, and her cloak flapped in the wind as she raised her eyes to look at the far-off mountain.
The scar that traced a silvery line above her eye, and her hair was in two long braids normally down to her waist but now streaming out behind her in the wind of the upper air.

edit: sorry it was so short.

hey Ferment.
don't worry Kookaburra, it's fine!
----

A dragon landed right behind Clise, and Liah scrambled down agily.
"Let's go!" she urged, pulling Clise up to the back of the dragon. Clise's hand was clutched tightly and a cord dangled in her fist. It was her brother's medallion. As for Klaze's body, it was left behind; it was not their way to retrieve their dead.

The dying scream of Klaze's dragon echoed up to the sky, and Clise listened to the mournful tone, something stirred in her heart. Liah gave the dragon two pats and it lifted off from the ground, the beating motions of its mighty wings creating a cloud of dust, and nearby trees swayed. Below a few dwarves were shouting their war cries and shaking their axes in defiance of the dragon host.

Liah turned to Clise and abruptly turned back to the front, Clise wept the tears off her face quickly. The dragon host was a proud people. Crying, an emotion so intimate was only expressed inside the family, as Liah was not related to Clise by blood, she refused to shame her friend, so she pretended that she heard nothing. Behind them, the remaining dragons were heading off, flying beyond their enemies' reach.

Liah had Clise's bundle tied around the dragon's neck. Now that they were flying peacefully, she untied it and handed it behind her back. Clise sniffed and took it.
"Forget this day, Clise, let's go home."
Surprisingly, Clise said, "Drop me off at Uiani."
Eyes widening, Liah turned.

"Each one of us has a duty to do, little one."

"I've to find the seven seals."
"This is madness!" Liah said, exasperated. "Your family won't let you."
Clise regarded Liah with a determined look, and she lowered her voice firmly, "It's my duty, i cannot ignore it."
"It's a fool's errand, that's what it is!" Liah said, but she felt like she has lost the battle already, when Clise was determined, it would take a miracle to persuade her otherwise.

Therefore, she found herself watching Clise sliding off the dragon's tail, her pitiful bundle slung over the back. Not once did her friend turn back to wave at her, and she knew that it would be a long time before she would see her again. Lifting her voice, she called, "Kyne will be waiting!"

Clise stopped in her track. Kyne was the name of her dragon. In this situation, Clise has defied her family by running away to find the seals, she was not entitled to handle a dragon, regardless of the fact that Kyne was assigned to her. Liah was breaking the rule by making this offer, and Clise felt a wave of relief flooding through her, mixed with a tint of gratitute. Her brother's medallion dangled from her neck and it reflected the sunlight as she turned half way to nod at Liah before setting her foot firmly on the path.

I'm gonna merge into your plot, blessed-1.
-----------------------------------
Aridol left the battered stonewall when his forward scouts signaled him. He reached the stairs and patted the scout?s shoulder roughly, ?So what do you have here??
The scout looked exhausted and gave his commander a quick salute, ?I think this will interest you. Over Caracarn and through the short pass of the Dagger Mountain, we have spotted dwarves fighting dragons. And I think the dragons are loosing, pretty badly.?

Aridol?s head jerked up slightly at the word of dragons. Dragons mean only the Dragon host, a long time ally of the Kingdom of Eyre. If the dragons were losing, it only meant an ambush. Strong headed as the Dragon host was, they would never attack an enemy if they were uncertain of victory.

Aridol didn?t waste anytime. He grabbed the scouts shoulder and said ?Keep on monitoring the dwarves, I?ll be there.?
He quick turned to his commanders, ?Quickly call up squadrons one to ten and have them prepared to charge into the dwarves when I arrive.?
The officers saluted and rushed away.
* Filthy dwarves *
Aridol mounted and joined his squads at the north gate.

In no time at all, Aridol?s 500 knights charged into the dwarves. Unexpecting an ambush to be laid against the ambusher, the dwarves scattered and were driven back into the mountains without a very bloody battle.

Aridol regrouped and watched the seemingly leader of the dragon flying to him.

-------------------------------
That?s all for now

I'm merging, as well...if you don't mind.
Also, pray for a friend...Courtney...she's doubting her faith and needs help...just pray I can give it to her...she's so awesome...I'm crying, and she's crying, so....
~~~~~~~
A cold breath of wind swept across Freezia's brow, and she steered Zanxi down towards the tree-clad hillside that was blanketed with young growth. She found it hard to believe that mature trees were already obscuring what remained of the Windsong clan's rambling structures, long since charred and rotten by the fires that had swept through during the last seige.
Maybe it is so lush, she thought, Because of the lavish blood that was sacrificed for the children. She tried not to think of her brother, older than her by one year, volenteering to guide the young boys and girls out of that cursed place by the secret way prepared long before, through enemy lines.
Every one of those children had vanished out of time, and my brother with them.
Suddenly, she was jerked back to reality with the harsh ringing of an ax on wood, and Zanxi banked, drawing his wings tight to his sides as he dropped like a stone, a silver speck against the sky, unnoticed by the small group of dwarves that were laying waste to a new clearing.
Zanxi spread his wings and fluttered down through the tips of the trees, making sure he was unseen. Immediately, two arrows were strung on Freezia's bow, and unconsciously, her skin tightened and her face changed slightly--her eyes more sharp and cool and dark, her face narrower and fiercer, with higher cheekbones, and small down feathers covered her arms, back and legs, and she became significantly lighter as she shapeshifted into a half-bird, half-human person, with great feathered wings that she unfurled, changing color like a chameleon.
Zanxi landed awkwardly on both legs, cocking his great head and looking at her with one brown eye.
Then he emitted a harsh squack and vanished amid the trees as Freezia raced for the reports of dwarvish axes against the ancient trees of the upper slope.
Angrily, she burst into the clearing and the dwarves didn't notice her until one of them dropped with an arrow in his shoulder.
Another jumped when a loud thwock sound emitted from below him, and he noticed that his canteen was smashed and the last drops of water were gone from it, along with a trickle of blood from his mule, which was harnessed strongly, as no living creature respected the dark dwarves--which these were.
They scattered and were immediately disadvantaged as Freezia picked them off one by one. Three of them headed to the creek, but were caught as the water froze around them and encased them in solid ice.
The other four abandoned their wounded comrade and ducked into the trees, but not before another fell.
With them all at her mercy, she approached the wounded one, and he cringed and drew back in fear, writhing in agony as she snapped the shaft in two and drew it from his soldier.
"Who are you?" he demanded, angrily, but more afraid.
"The question I ask of you, who so arrogantly destroyed these beautiful, ancient trees and violated the resting places of the dead."
He winced at her touch and her words, and neither were gentle. "We were told to, by our master. This was to be...be a headquarters."
"All right. I'm giving you and your remaining mates 5 to get out, and stay out. Tell him the dead rest easy until they are aroused."
The dwarf shifted uncomfortably and nodded. "Sounds fair...for a...a...."
"Windsong."
He was silent. "Windsong? They are all dead...."
"Except me. And perhaps my brother."
The dwarf cleared out, as quick as his short legs would take him.
She looked around and whistled Zanxi as she released the frost-bitten dwarves from the creek. "Let's go." She whispered, and shot up into the bitterly cold atmosphere. "I can sense something evil afoot."
That was when she spotted the other dwarves, fleeing through the woods...a lot of them. She banked east again and saw a straggling band of Dragons, and she felt the strong muscles under Zanxi's feathers tighten, but then ease. He darted earthward and she spotted another person, not of the Dragonfire clan, and she made her way towards him.
Aridol looked up at the leader of the dragons and gave them a quick farewell with a hand to heart salute, then the dragons flew away.
Then another flying object caught his eyes.
"It's an eagle (it is, isn't it?) sir. A big one." His commander said and archers began lifting up their bows.
Aridol's eyes narrowed. *It can't be... can it? The Windsong has been gone... no, wiped* Aridol thought.
Then Aridol's eyes widened as his doubt cleared. It IS a windsong!
"Lower you weapons! It's a friend, or I hope it is" He shouted.
The great eagle landed near him and its eyes glared intensely at the surrounding soldiers.
The ride, a girl, dismounted and Aridol walked to her and bowed slightly.
"I'm Aridol, Lord Commander of the armies of Eyre. May I have you name? It's a dangerous area here you know." Aridol said.
The girl, a bit shorted than him, focused her green eyes on him, not intimated by the surrounding archers and cavalries.
"I'm Freezia of the Windsong, and I felt evil nearby, which turned out to be dwarves, so I came to investigate" The girl said.
Aridol's soldiers gasped at the name of Windsong, and he first noticed the silverish hair streaked with blue. Also, the longbow, it's so fine made.
"Ah, so I have guessed. A Windsong, although I don't know much about your clan, but I know you have fought the devil bravely. How may I be of any help to you? If you want refreshments, we can have a cup of wine at Caracarn, not a long ride."
Freezia's eyes widened at the word Caracarn, " That is a city of the devil!"
Aridol smiled and replied, "Well, it's now Eyre's."
I better stop there la. You know, some people don't like others controlling their players too much. :)
