I'm saying they don't have enough data to draw the conclusions they are drawing.

What led you to say this? You can determine the mass, size, and orbit of planets by the dimming of the star as it passes in front of it as well as the Doppler shift of the star as it wobbles in response to planets. Combining both the size and mass of a planet you can determine its density which tells you if it is gaseous or rocky planet. You can determine the Goldilocks zone of a star by measuring its luminosity.

It seems that you simply don't want scientists to know these things.

It depends on what perspective you take.

There is only one perspective that counts, the perspective of the atheist. They get to determine what they believe or don't believe.

But that does not mean atheists do not have beliefs about the creation of the universe, and morals, and what happens after man dies, etc.

But none of those beliefs involve a deity.

This is why their unbelief in God and the Bible can also be categorized as a belief, too.

Unbelief is just unbelief.

For example: Most people believe the Earth is round. This is a pretty basic fact in life that most folks do not ignore because there is overwhelming evidence that the Earth is round. However, there are people who believe contrary to the facts that are presented to them and they believe the Earth is flat. They deny the existence of a flat Earth. A fact. Are they Round Earth Atheists?

A = without
theist = belief in deities

Atheist = without a belief in deities

The term "atheist" only refers to a lack of belief in deities. It doesn't apply to geology or astrophysics.

The word atheist is just a word and man's definition in a dictionary does not always give us the clearest meaning in every instance.

The word "atheist" is also of man's invention, and the people who call themselves atheists are allowed to define what it means. The whole point of communication and words is to convey to another person what you mean. When someone says that they are an atheist they are saying that they don't believe in any gods.

Sorry, atheists cannot make their own reality just by thinking about it.

You said "belief", that means you have a belief about things. In other words, you have your own worldview or belief system that does not include God. But it is still a belief that you hold to. You take it by your own personal belief system that there is no God.

You can have an unbelief in God and the Bible. This is true. But in order to not believe something, you have to have a belief that is telling you to not believe in God and the Bible. Again, Flat Earthers deny the fact that the Earth is round. Their unbelief in the facts does not change the fact that they have a belief about the shape of our planet.

I see that you are caught in a feed back loop of not being able to figure out that you do have a belief of some kind. That is okay. You can go on believing that you don't believe. Oh wait, can you do that? Can you believe something?

Right, because there are all kind of transitional fossils out there for us to see.

There are.

toskulls2.jpg

If Evolution was true, then there should be a ton of transitional fossils everywhere.

There probably are tons of transitional fossils out there. We are in the process of finding them, and we have already found a lot of them.

Also, how does life form out of non-life?

We don't know.

Can a rock ever give birth to a fungus or microscopic life? Where does this complex code of life that has evolved truly come from?

We don't know that, either. That's what we have the scientific method for, to research these questions.

Do you ever wonder about the perfect life conditions of the Earth?

About as much as I wonder how a hole in the ground is able to perfectly conform itself to the shape of the water in a puddle.

The chances of such a thing happening are pretty astronomical. Just like Evolution.

Once you have imperfect replicators competing for limited resource the chances of evolution occurring are 1 in 1.

Also, if you just came from the slime, then that means there is no such thing as morality.

Our capacity for empathy and reason allows us to form our own moral codes regardless of our origins.

But you have certain of God's laws written upon your heart telling you that certain things are wrong.

Could you please show us pictures of hearts with these words on them?

If Evolution was true, you would have no conviction of any kind of sin or wrong doing in your life.

That is a completely unsupported assertion. Why can't the evolution of empathy, reason, logic, and intelligence allow us to form our own moral codes?

Sin or wrong doing suggests that we sinned against a Creator God as the Bible suggests. So I would invite you to read your Bible and to seek out Jesus as your Savior.

...

How do you know that what the Bible commands is moral?

Not going to debate evidence back and forth with you. You reject the God of the Bible. So any evidence that supports the Lord our God will simply be rejected immediately by you because you are not in favor in believing in God. The only way you are going to be able to see is if you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior.

With stellar transit and Doppler shift data you can determine the size, mass, and orbit of exoplanets. How is that speculation?

It is speculation because Heissonear says it is.

You realise you have lost the debate, so all of a sudden you can find a spurious reason why your opponent is not worth debating with.

Very good.

I don't believe that there is no God. I just haven't seen any evidence that God does exist, so I don't believe that God does exist. I am fully open to the possibility that God does exist.

While I do have beliefs in other areas, they are not a part of atheism. The only thing all atheists have in common is a disbelief in deities. The only thing that atheism covers is a disbelief in deities. There is no preferred color for atheists. Atheism doesn't cover a preference of chocolate ice cream over vanilla. Atheism doesn't cover our choice of politics or favorite sport. Atheism is just an answer to one question, do you believe in deities.

You can have an unbelief in God and the Bible. This is true. But in order to not believe something, you have to have a belief that is telling you to not believe in God and the Bible.

A lack of evidence is all we need to not believe something is true.

A good analogy is our courts of law. A defendant is said to be innocent until proven guilty. If the prosecutor is unable to provide evidence that the defendant is guilty, then he is presumed to be innocent. That doesn't mean that you have to believe that the defendant is actually innocent, only that there isn't evidence demonstrating guilt. The same applies to deities. You need to provide evidence that a deity exists before atheists will believe that deities exist.

Again, Flat Earthers deny the fact that the Earth is round. Their unbelief in the facts does not change the fact that they have a belief about the shape of our planet.

The difference is that we have evidence that the Earth is round. No such evidence exists for deities.

I had never heard of Jack Chick until just now, but reading about him, he runs Fred Phelps a close second in hate mongering.
He made Alex Jones look sane. I have a hard time taking seriously people who defend him.

See, we Belgians have much more to offer then just a "hellhole" capital Mr Trump! :D
Trappists are an order of monks known for their beer (don't tell the Baptists).

Jack Chick, seriously? Isn't he the guy who claimed that Catholicism is a Satanic conspiracy that created Islam, communism, and the Holocaust?
Google "Death Cookie".

And let's not mention "Big Daddy" which was little more than Hovind's garbage mashed up with an urban legend and anti-Semitic 'artwork'.

So you think that the people of this world are unbiased and completely objective in their agendas and beliefs? The people of this world seek to do all kind of wrong things. The secular world without God is seeking it's own path that is not exactly righteous and good. However, Christians who follow the Bible have a higher moral standard and they are supposed to live by a selfless standard. The secular humanist is do whatever you like to please yourself. This is the same line of thinking in satanism.

...

How do you know that the moral code of the Bible is better? Do you use your own ability to judge morality to come to this conclusion?

The Bible says, "Without faith it is impossible to please God." (Hebrews 11:6).

You have to first believe. You have to be convicted of your sin before Jesus and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and believe by faith that He died on the cross for your sins and that He rose 3 days later on your behalf. If you tried to do this and did not hear from Him, then chances are you were not being truly sincere or genuine with the Lord or you did not fully believe (Whereby you planned to make a full head on committment to believe Jesus and His Word no matter what).

As for the evidences for a Young Earth:
Well, not that it will convince you because you are opposed to God, but here is a list of 101 evidences:

Age of the earth - creation.com

Also, check out this website, as well.

The Age of the Earth: Evidence for a Young Earth, Young Earth Evidences.

Side Note:

Please take note that I am not going to go back and forth in debating these evidences with you. That would be pointless because it is not the evidence that is going to ultimately convince you. It is Jesus Christ who will change your mind and heart. For a person cannot see the things of God without Jesus.

...
Instead of dumping links, how about picking a couple and discussing them in your own words showing that you have some grasp on the claim and are not merely parroting things that tickle your ears?

The general way of thinking of how people of the world think outside of having God and His Word.

If you didn't believe in God would you go on a rampage of raping and pillaging? If so, it is a good thing you believe in God. If the only reason you act morally is because of your religious beliefs then you may have some serious psychological problems.

I see no evidence that the God of the Bible is real. You certainly aren't presenting any evidence.

So any evidence that supports the Lord our God will simply be rejected immediately by you because you are not in favor in believing in God.

That would require you to present evidence, which you refuse to do.

Not going to debate evidence back and forth with you.

Then perhaps a discussion and debate forum is not the best venue for your efforts. You might follow Ray Comfort's lead and try boardwalks, college campuses or street corners.
