Discovering facts and the interpretation of those facts are two different things. The interpretation of the facts presented by scientist who are atheists are slanted towards their world belief of atheism.

Scare quotes, check. What passes for "science" these days is just laughable. They can not say anything meaningful about something 39 light years away. It's just not possible. But, they can speculate enough to keep the money rolling in, so that's a plus.
No, just no. There is zero evidence that the earth is 6,000 years old. There is no conflict. Science supports a young Earth
I have a hard time wrapping my head around how big Saturn and Jupiter are, much less super-giants or Cephied variable stars. We must keep in mind that biblical cosmology envisioned a flat earth with a dome overhead enclosing a hemispherical space. To the ancients that was the universe. The moon, sun, planets and stars were simply lights within the hemisphere. They had no idea that the earth was a sphere or those lights above very frequently incredibly larger than the earth itself and were actually an incredibly long distance away.
...Evolution (Which is popular with atheists) requires lots and lots and lots of faith despite the evidence refuting it.
Are there any plans to send unmanned probes to these kind of planets when they are being discovered to know "for sure"
Our current technology, both spaceflight and communications, makes that impossible at this time.
Try your argument from a scientific perspective...
Which could be...? Earth, this planet, our solar system specifically, our galaxy, are all, each "perfect" ones...
It may require these kinds of "perfect" conditions and circumstances for life to be able to come about on any planet, anywhere... In which case, despite the sheer numbers, we could possibly be the only ones of our kind and very extremely "unique"... There is still the possibility, according to that, that we could be "the only ones" and our planet, is the only planet like it, and we are, the only ones like us, despite the sheer numbers...
I am open to either possibility and can't wait to see what they find... Hope it happens in my lifetime and I am still alive at the time, I would really like to know, for sure...
I would not, and does not change my belief about God in any way...
God Bless!
No, just no. There is zero evidence that the earth is 6,000 years old.
The only correct part of this sentence is the parenthetical comment.
In astronomy earth-like means rocky/metallic rather than gaseous and of similar size. It doesn't mean it can support life, much less humans.
USincognito said:And were did you get your thoughts about atheists "celebrating" Christians being wrong? Because I'm inclined to think the source was your imagination.
No it doesn't.
It boils down to this, people put way too much stock on this old earth, new earth, evolution happened, didn't happen, on proving or disproving the Bible.
In reality, neither do anything to support, or refute it.
Science isn't some sort of weapon against God, or Christianity, it's used as such by the more ignorant.
It's simply a tool to figure out how things work, that's it.
Preach it, Brother! Preach it! Do I get an Amen?
Agreed, but that's why I mentioned current technology and at this time.Oh, it's definitely possible. It would just cost a lot of money and we wouldn't get any results for at least a century. Not the kind of thing any government would really consider doing.
"very clear"
It says The Earth, not the one and only, or the only ever.
I think God is a creator, and if I was creating things, I wouldn't stop at just one.
In saying this, yes, I am saying I believe in the very real possibility of alien life.
Then how can you be sure encounters with angels aren't actually demons?
