Matthew 24An interesting selection of Scripture. The second verse you quoted is Mt.24:15, addressed exclusively to Israel, as Jesus made abundantly clear in Mt.15:24. Which is a prophetic event that will take place at the mid-point, 3.5 years into the 7 year tribulation.
Mar 13:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
Mar 13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
Mar 13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand
The ye is the same as the you -- the disciples.
The prophetic event have been fulfilled in 70 AD....the abomination who caused the desolation of the City and the Temple prophesied in Daniel 9....was the Roman Army.
From post 99:And just how is the above supposed to be related to my post #99? Review the following, pertaining to the purpose for #99:
>>>Jesus ministry in His first advent was EXCLUSIVELY to Israel, He made abundantly clear, in Mt.15:25 and in Mt.10:5-6. The Church DID NOT exist then, because the Holy Spirit had not yet arrived, as recorded in Jn.7:30, until at Pentecost, ten days after Jesus ascended into heaven, recorded in Acts 1:9 and in Acts 2:1-3
The subject in my post #99 pertained to the abomination f Desolation, in Mt.24:15, and the Church being raptured before that event will take place in Thess.4:17 and in 2 Thess.2:3.<<<
Quasar92
The 70 weeks of Daniel correspond to 490 years...Jesus fulfilled the prophecy about the Messiah being cut off -half way- during the 70 TH WEEK...No! Dan.9:27; Mt.24; Mk.13 Lk.21 and Rev.6 all refer to the same event, the 70th and final chapter in the disposition of Istael, the seven years of tribulation, YET TO COME. None of which is History, you try making of it!

It has nothing to do with Israel or a seven year tribulation. It's a forewarning to His disciples to be vigilant for the sign(s) of the impending calamity which will befall Jerusalem and Judea within the generation of their lifetimes.
The 70 weeks of Daniel correspond to 490 years...Jesus fulfilled the prophecy about the Messiah being cut off -half way- during the 70 TH WEEK...
Daniel 9:24-27 KJV
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Jesus CONFIRMED THE COVENANT WITH MANY ... COVENANT that the Jews rejected by killing Jesus in the midst of the 70 TH WEEK....Jesus by His Sacrifice [by His Blood shed on the Cross] caused the sacrifice and the oblation of the Old Covenant to cease in the midst of the 70 TH WEEK as prophesied by Daniel.None of the above abtogates my piost #104 reguting you. Dan.9:27 is not pat history. It is amplified in Jesus Olivet Discourse in Mt.24; Mk.13 and in Lk.21, and further amplified in Rev.6. You have been deceived by false teachers!

What makes you think the above quotation of M.13:3-5 relates to the contents of my post #99 in any way?
Jesus ministry in His first advent was EXCLUSIVELY to Israel, He made abundantly clear, in Mt.15:25 and in Mt.10:5-6.
Matthew 24Mt.24:4-31 together with its counterparts in Mk.13 and Lk.21, Jesus Olivet Discourse are all amplifications of Dan.9:27 pertaining to the coming seven year tribulation, further amplified in Rev.6. It has everything to do with Israel, to whom it was all addressed, as Jesus made crystal clear in Mt.15:24 and in Mt.10:5-6. From which there is NO proper interpretive options.

YOU try to turn a COVENANT made by JESUS nearly 2,000 years ago ...into a supposed "peace treaty" that will supposedly be made between an Antichrist with the actual ungodly State of Israel ....What you are doing is an offense to the Word of God .
Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
On the Day of Pentecost about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah chapter 31, and revealed at the Last Supper in Matthew 26:28.
During the first few years of the Church almost all of its members were Israelites.
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Christ speaks of His Church above.
The Great Commission to the Church is found below at the end of the Book of Matthew.
Mat 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
Mat 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The following parallel passages reveal that Christ said something similar to the events of 167 BC would occur during 70 AD.
The city was attacked during 167 BC and the temple sacrifices were stopped.
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Luk 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
Luk 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

From "Antiquities of the Jews" by Josephus, Book 12, chapter 7
"6. When therefore the generals of Antiochus's armies had been beaten so often, Judas assembled the people together, and told them, that after these many victories which God had given them, they ought to go up to Jerusalem, and purify the temple, and offer the appointed sacrifices. But as soon as he, with the whole multitude, was come to Jerusalem, and found the temple deserted, and its gates burnt down, and plants growing in the temple of their own accord, on account of its desertion, he and those that were with him began to lament, and were quite confounded at the sight of the temple; so he chose out some of his soldiers, and gave them order to fight against those guards that were in the citadel, until he should have purified the temple. When therefore he had carefully purged it, and had brought in new vessels, the candlestick, the table [of shew-bread], and the altar [of incense], which were made of gold, he hung up the veils at the gates, and added doors to them. He also took down the altar [of burnt-offering], and built a new one of stones that he gathered together, and not of such as were hewn with iron tools. So on the five and twentieth day of the month Casleu, which the Macedonians call Apeliens, they lighted the lamps that were on the candlestick, and offered incense upon the altar [of incense], and laid the loaves upon the table [of shew-bread], and offered burnt-offerings upon the new altar [of burnt-offering]. Now it so fell out, that these things were done on the very same day on which their Divine worship had fallen off, and was reduced to a profane and common use, after three years' time; for so it was, that the temple was made desolate by Antiochus, and so continued for three years. This desolation happened to the temple in the hundred forty and fifth year, on the twenty-fifth day of the month Apeliens, and on the hundred fifty and third olympiad: but it was dedicated anew, on the same day, the twenty-fifth of the month Apeliens, on the hundred and forty-eighth year, and on the hundred and fifty-fourth olympiad. And this desolation came to pass according to the prophecy of Daniel, which was given four hundred and eight years before; for he declared that the Macedonians would dissolve that worship [for some time].
7. Now Judas celebrated the festival of the restoration of the sacrifices of the temple for eight days, and omitted no sort of pleasures thereon; but he feasted them upon very rich and splendid sacrifices; and he honored God, and delighted them by hymns and psalms. Nay, they were so very glad at the revival of their customs, when, after a long time of intermission, they unexpectedly had regained the freedom of their worship, that they made it a law for their posterity, that they should keep a festival, on account of the restoration of their temple worship, for eight days. And from that time to this we celebrate this festival, and call it Lights. I suppose the reason was, because this liberty beyond our hopes appeared to us; and that thence was the name given to that festival. Judas also rebuilt the walls round about the city, and reared towers of great height against the incursions of enemies, and set guards therein. He also fortified the city Bethsura, that it might serve as a citadel against any distresses that might come from our enemies. "
Josephus confirms above the understanding of the Jews of his time, who knew that Daniel had predicted the events of 167 BC, by Antiochus Epiphanes.
Josephus confirms it as a historical fact.
John 10:22 is a reference to the celebration of Hanukkah each year by the Jews of Jesus time.

I'm very curious. Who are them and you in v. 4?
You seem to have a problem understanding and answering a simple question. I'll repeat it to help you:How long are you goig to continue deceiving yoursef, into rejecting the Biblical teachings of the coming pre-trib rapture of the Church? You keep producing meaningless opinion, but fail to find the Scriptures to support them. Review the following Scriptural proof for the pre-trib rapture of the Church, taught by Jesus, Matthew, Luke, John and Paul, you call liars:
The Biblical teaching of the pre-trib rapture of the Church - a deeper walk...

Clearly, Mr. Quasar needs it to be a Spiritual, Metaphoric, Generic "Them" & "You", and not a Literal, Specific, Actual "Them" & "You" for that scripture to harmonize with his view.
Wait... so this NEVER happened in the 1st century?

Is that really what you are claiming?
