Set in your ways...

Grin. I don't think I'll ever be set in my ways. I've decked out a few bachelor pads. My current residence is decorated in office/museum style which I would happily drop like a rock for the right lady. I might even learn a new language for her.

I would hope that if I fell in love with someone that I wouldn't care about changing my life... right now that feels very foreign.

I used to think about that and it always made me think it would be near impossible. Now I laugh, the Lord does remarkable things!! I'm deeply in love with a man, and never saw it coming, my daughter's father-in-law, lol. And we are so alike it's nearly effortless. We do each have a couple things that are not really compatible, but they are such manageable or small things, no problem. I think our loving Father just smiles at us a lot, lol.

Every now and then I think about dating, and then talk myself out of it. I really don't mind being single, but I'd like to be in love. LOL Who knows!

That is exactly how I feel! One minute I wish I'd know somebody and we would be in love with each other, the next I think that being single is not bad after all.

I'm so stuck in my ways now and very independant, I don't think anyone could put up with me!

One minute I'm very lonely and would love that special someone and the next I'm content on my own with the kids. Plus my expectations are very high now, I think my tick list would scare any man away!

And where are those guys who don't want to be intimate before marriage?!! As soon as I reveal that I have no intention of sleeping with a man (this goes for online too when I will not have 'cyber' relations) he no longer wants to talk to me!

Well if it happens, it happens...God has His plan for me!

but yes, I too am kinda set in my ways and routines.

there are many days I miss the company of a lady, the conversations, just teh prescence and other days I enjoy my solitude. After marriage and almost 20 yrs total in the miltairy, I can appreicate time to myself.

this is my first post in this section - until a couple days ago, i was not a christian.

so am "exploring" the different sections of this site that I "avoided" for the last 2 yrs I been here.

thank you for the kind welcome and words! beleive it or not, this site had a big factor in me heading in the direciton and then becoming one of the first N/C Mods and thinking Who I was representing. well, that had a factor in it too; was a motivator.
