  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The Hebrew words used were very straightforward: tree, serpent, eat, field. There is no reason to change the story, especially in light of what was pointed out above, symbolism not used when referring to Adam.

God banished them from paradise living, but they still lived. They bore children, enjoyed their families, ate fruit, passed along the stories, communed with God... they just endured a more work-intensive, painful existence.

Isaiah 61:3 is just one example where the Bible uses 'tree' for people, it's figurative. Such as family tree.

It doesn't change the story, it's just looked at in a different light. If you think snakes talked back then then ok; take it word for word and add no symbology to it.

I would be interested in hearing the people who promote it, explain what it is they believe and why, so a conversation on ethics and morality has substance to it. It seems online there are very diverse versions that come under the name, and we can just offer gut reactions without a solid definition.

Just because you're ignorant doesn't mean we don't live for Christ and doesnt mean we are racist.

Please explain what i am ignorant of?

That the doctrine is heretical and racist is pretty much beyond dispute. And I stand by my statement that anyone holding it has nothing of Christ in them.

Your ignorant to the doctrine itself, and your ignorant to the word of God for judging people.

There is NOTHING racist about it, NOTHING, only the stupid idiots who don't understand it call it racist because they say blacks come from Cain, which is NEVER been in the Bible. It was a myth created by racist themselves to discredit the Bible itself.

Everyone knows all races were created on the 6th day, and they were good in the eyes of God.

You're ignorant and pompous, but you have no idea how this works.

My apologies. In half. You are equally in error as the vast majority of those who loudly proclaim the doctrine claim that the progeny of the mating of Eve and the Serpent is the black race. It is not those calling it racist that say the blacks came from this, it is those proclaiming the doctrine.

I have a couple questions.

1) How many races were created on the 6th day?

2) I'm white, is it okay for me to marry and have children with a black woman?

3) What are "races"?
