  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I need some intervention. I am a single father with one son who lives with me. I have been having some health issues and we have been really struggling because of that. I have been very discouraged and I constantly feel completely alone, I don't even feel the presence of God and legitimately feel like He's turned his back on me. I am quite lonely in my life and I just don't know what to do.

God bless you, prayers sent . In times past I've asked for a Christian to remind God of his Word and have them anoint me with oil according to James for healing . I've done it for others .. If your son is old enough to read or recite from you as you read let him anoint you , you can guide him through ..

God Almighty is still there with you. He never at any moment forsakes you. That feeling is from Satan. He is trying to do that to you so that you do not even bother to read God's Word or to prayer for forgiveness and guidance to Him. The feeling of discouraged and lonely came from Satan.
God wants you to be a Happy Single father, raising up your beloved son and only Him knows what is best for you and your family. Open up your bible and at least read a chapter or a verse and meditate on it. You will be successful.
This is my prayer to you.
Dear Almighty God,
I thank You Father for his life and his son's life.
Father, he feels so discouraged and so lonely. May you bless him and protect him all throughout the days of his life and cast away all the negative feelings he's being experiencing. Let him know that you ALWAYS LOVE HIM and that You never forsake him. Let him know the how powerful is Your Word to him. Forgive him Father, for he has sin and cleanse him Father by the precious blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank You Father for letting Your Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. This is my prayer in Jesus name.
Amen.

It is not selfish to ask for prayers. We are commanded to pray for one another, and you honor the ones who receive the request and pray for you.

And God wishes that we help one another.

You and your son have my prayers.

God be with you both. :)

You're in my prayers. Whether it matters or not, I can say that feeling lonely happens to so many of us. The worse part is that it even happens when there's people from left to right in our lives. Hold on to that hope, friend. Hold on tight for you and your son.

Thanks for sharing, friend. I know that being a single parent is extremely challenging, and I can understand the feelings you expressed. Given what you shared, I would suggest that you share your struggles with a caring friend, a family member, or your pastor. Sending prayers for you, asking the Lord to reveal His healing presence to you in a special and powerful way, filling you with his love, peace, and strength in the days ahead. Stay strong, okay?
