What do you think? I'm anti-death penalty myself, because I believe that the lost should be given every chance to come to Jesus and because I see the death penalty as murder to avenge murder. :(

Even in a case as horrible as this one, I believe that life in prison would be an appropriate sentence. :( :(

I voted no because I'm against the death penalty. Although the best answer to this poll (for me, anyway) would be that I don't have enough information--about the crime or the laws and courts in Japan to say whether or not the sentence is legal and correct.

Thanks, Susan, for bringing us some world news! Even though I don't necessarily think that it's great news. (How can someone's death sentence be great news?)

I believe the death penatly is wrong. No one has the right to take someone elses life and if a person does so, that person should be judged by God only. No matter what that person did, it is not our place to judge them, that is God's place only. I also believe that nobody dies with out the chance to come to know Jesus. No matter what, God will give that person a chance to come to know him. It is up to the person to accept or reject that chance. That is my two cents :)

In Christ,
Anna

In Endo's case, it is not YOUR tax dollars being spent unless you live in Tokyo.

BTW your average death penalty case costs more to prosecute and manage than a life in prison without parole case.
