  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Definatly worth the long years of waiting for it. :) The Emporer is a shoe in for villian of the year. B)

Although, the personality they gave to some of the Battle Droids was..unnecessary. They are produced for battle, not for thought.

I just saw the premiere and it was awesome, the lightsabre battles were incredible, the dog fight at the start with obi wan and the buzz droids was truely marvelous, I am probably the biggest fan of star wars here, I've read the book a year ago so I kind of knew what was going to happen but the special FX were truely awesome.

In 1983, George Lucas took it a beating with the press. I was there, so I know. At the time, he didn't want to continue with the "next" three.

It seems that it's easy for one man to hammer on another man's art work. That red haired freak on late night seems to delight in attacking people's art. His "art" is mainly bashing other people. I guess it must entertain, so who am I to criticize his "choice" of joke.

Anyway, if George is reading this, I thought it was good. George old buddy, remember that some of the great painters died penniless. The value of their work was not seen until after they had died. Be glad so many call you great. Don't let the rest ruin what you might do tomorrow.

I saw it at the midnight show at the AMC theatre. It was great. I loved being there with such an enthusiastic crowd. This dude dressed up as Yoda got a huge cheer when he walked in the theatre LOL. I want to see it again for sure.

I want the final trilogy made. Lucas really hit the mark with this one and seems to be reaching his stride(as far as the new movies). Hopefully a good reception can get him to reconsider actually doing the final trilogy.

Unfortunatly, that's doubtful to happen. 7, 8, and 9 have been made into books already and Lucas says III is the final movie he makes on Star Wars; but, ya never know.

Saw it and loved it, but I do not think it was worth sitting in the movie theatre from 8:00pm to 12:01 just waiting for the movie to start and not worth finally getting home at 3:00am and having to go to work the 3 hours afterwards.

Anyhow, I bet this will be a record breaking event. All 24 auditoriums where full. There will be alot of quotes carried on for ages from that movie. My favorite will be Yodas: "Relationship with the Wookie, I have."

One of the best parts of the movie is that there was no Jar Jar dialouge :amen:.

This movie is a must see. Does really well in tying Episode III and IV together. I just wish the ending wasn't so rushed. I wanted to see more!

Anyone here that the word of all Episodes being release in 2007 in 3D?
