Elene heard the voices from the attic and decided to investigate what was going on. After the discovery of the boxes in the Whipstaff's room she wasn't sure she could take many more surprises. As she passed by Veronika's door she could hear sobbing inside, but rather than intrude on the girl's privacy (which she always hated other people doing to her) she passed by allowing Veronika some time to deal with whateve was going on and heade back toward the Attic door that held so much mystery.

"What's going on up here?" Elene asked as she saw Riam and the new girl...what was her name?...Dora smiling at eachother, "Did you two do something to Veronika, she's sobbing in her room?"

Absently she reached up and fingered the locket with it's engraved celtic cross, which had been in her box. She was nervous as if something was about to happen, but it was a good type of anxiousness, like the night before christmas.

"Twins, but how can that be? Did the old witch keep you both from knowing by keeping Dora locked up here all this time?" Elene asked, until the book that he held in his hand .

"That is quite strange," Elene said quietly as she studied the book. Reaching out her hand to touch it, lightly running her finger over the binding. It seemed to remind her of something in the back of her mind. Like a memory that had been their since the beginning of time but was unable to surface. There was power in this book, though she didn't know how to put it in words. Only a soft gasp escaped her lips as she pulled back her hand.

"That is a very old book, judging by it's binding. There is something...odd about it...otherworldy even," She said softly.

((o_O... I knew it would happen eventually. *shakes head sadly* The deadly mixture of video games, war movies, elven hatred, and computer games has finally melded into a toxic poison that has *choked sob* melted Dave's brain!))

"Roberta must have been keeping us seperated for a reason." Riam stated, still a little shocked and confused, but slowly his memories of his sister were coming back to him. "But what I don't get is all these drawings and stuff in this book." he opened it, showing both Dora and Elene the pictures he had seen while flipping through.

"That is like the creature we saw." Dora stated, putting her finger on the page.

"Indeed." Riam agreed, reading the small caption about the creature. "It says they are friendly and our allies." he looked at Dora and Elene. "Are we are war with someone?"
