Saturn is associated with Chronos, who is the symbolic guardian of time -- the keeper of time or "Father Time" often pictured as an exceeding elderly man with a long beard and an hourglass (and sometimes a scythe). As the keeper of time Chronos is also associated with the figure of the Reaper which can indicate either Harvest or Death. Chronos was also known as Aion or Aeon and was considered the ruler of the ages in the Greek mythos. Ananke (inevitability) was his mate. In certain occult traditions the planetary intelligence of Saturn/Chronos is associated with "Karma" or the idea of Judgment -- one's spiritual bill coming due and the fruition of what one has "sown" being "reaped."

Wow... Tears came to my eyes and I laughed when I read this. Take that for what you will.

Wow I have to give two warnings in one day about Astrology. Stay away from it!

Thank God the 'wise men' did not agree and knew the signs that they had seen in the 'heavens' and came to kneel and give gifts to the baby born in Nazareth.

I'm scurred! Don't look out into space!!! ;)

I've read a M. J. Agee's books (google her) and one of her books, A Butter and Honey Star sets forth that Saturn is actually God's throne; heaven. She sets out lots of reasons, one of which being the "third heaven" is mentioned. 3rd from earth is Saturn. its very interesting.
I may try and get a link.

Um, I have to respectfully disagree with what MJ Agee's book alludes to.

God lives outside of the 3rd dimension; One of the many reasons we cannot see Him with our fleshly eyes. Also, He lives outside of time (according to the greatest physicists alive today the 4th dimension is time). These physicists also believe there are 10 dimensions that make up the universe (check out Numbers and Deuteronomy for the significance of the number 10) and our senses only allow us to detect 4 dimensions. I'll go on and on about this... but if you want to read some great down-to-earth (in layman's terms) material on physics and what makes up the universe God created I suggest Michio Kaku's HYPERSPACE. (NOTE: It is best to only read it if you've already read the Word and accepted Christ as your Lord and Saviour)

Also, don't forget God is omnipresent and no three-dimensional home will nor can hold Him. He created the three-dimensional universe (or material plane if you will).

How blessed is our human race that the Creator of the entire universe loves us? Mere insects, specks of dust, sand fragments in the scheme of this universe!!!

Was the calendar Hebrew or Greek?
After a short while, I was drawn to look at the last month, and behind that particular calendar appeared the planet Saturn. Just then a voice spoke out to me (It was not God, but a messenger), he said "That is the day the Lord will come." And than I woke up
. Which last month?

Was the calendar Hebrew or Greek? . Which last month?

Visionary (whose name is quite fitting :) ), could you please enlighten me as to what the last month is in Jewish tradition and what day according to American calendars?

For some reason I believe that Jesus was born a Leo... I'll have to look up that sign etc. Recently I've just began giving any credance to the zodiac signs. I'd venture to bet that Jesus was a Leo (Lion from the tribe of Judah - 12 months - 12 disciples - 12 signs of the Zodiac - 12 complex types of personalities)

[NOTE: WARNING! JESUSSERVANT IS NOT WORSHIPING STARS OR ASTROLOGY OR SIGNS SO DONT EVEN GO THERE!]

I'm just a seeker of truth and as much knowledge as I can attain. I'm intelligent enough and gifted enough by the Father to use His Good Book and weed out the truth and lies on my own and that makes me

:)

OttawaUK, thanks for clearing that up for everyone here. We should be looking to Jesus, The holy Spirit, watch and pray, with our lamps filled with oil. I think if we are in touch with the Holy Spirit, than we can hear from God for ourselves. We don't need to be looking to any other gods or stars or planets. He will speak to us. I also have had many dreams and I do belive we are in the last days. However we should not fear, we should rejoice in our salvation and Love all people in hope that they might see Jesus in us and come to there own understanding of Him.

I don't remember seeing any letters or numbers, but I just remember when I awoke that it felt like I was being spoken in Hebrew, but I understood clearly.

It was interesting but the voice spoke to me about various things that were to occur on each month, but i can't remember what he said. I just remember the very last quote which I shared with you all.

Thank you all for you interest in this thread and for sharing.

Have a good night!

Wow I have to give two warnings in one day about Astrology. Stay away from it!

Isaiah 47:13-14: All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. Here are no coals to warm anyone; here is no fire to sit by.

God was mocking the astrologers for making vain predictions. Can it be any clearer than that!?

There are many other scriptures about astrology/witchcraft, and interpreters of omens. How anyone (even those who don't know the Bible very well) can misinterpret God's word on this issue is beyond me:

Deuteronomy 4:19: "Be careful that you don't worship the sun, moon, and stars."

Deuteronomy 17:2-5 in the Old Testament says that those who worshipped the sun, moon, or stars were to be stoned.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says that practicing witchcraft, sorcery, soothsaying, interpreting omens, making spells, and being a medium or spiritist, are all terrible sins to God.

Daniel 2:27-28 talks of how God kept King Nebuchadnezzar's dream and its interpretation secret from the astrologers, magicians or dream interpreters, and soothsayers. However, he revealed it to his prophet Daniel.

Acts 16:16-18 talks of a girl who was possessed by an evil spirit that enabled her to be a fortune teller. Paul commanded the evil spirit to come out of her in the name or authority of Jesus, and the spirit left her:

Deuteronomy 18:9-11: "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft..."

2 Chronicles 33:5-7: "He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger."

Sounds pretty clear to me.

OU

true, but wouldn't a dream be different? Take Joseph's dream for example. He saw the sun, moon, and 11 stars bow down to him. Or the vision in the book of Revelation of the women clothed with the sun, standing above the moon, having a crown of twelves stars on her head. This dream, may not be astrological. It may be symbolic. I would keep an eye out, but not be taken away by such a dream.

For example the calendar running from right to left indicates a reverse in time or a loss of time. One poster commented that Saturn represented time, or in this case sequence. The last month indicated the return of the Lord. Now, we know better than to set dates, we are warned against it, because only the Father know the exact hour, day, month, and year, so that all may be accomplished according to His perfect and righteous will. I would take the dream as more symbolic of saying, "The end is near." That has been a fact for quite some time now. Perhaps the time is closer than we imagined. I feel that way anyway. I always day dreamed of hugging Jesus when I was a kid. I hope to hug him. God bless

Hello Jesusservant,

As I mentioned from what I remember is that it appeared to be the last month reading from right to left, so I do believe it must have been Kislev.

Thank you for your question.

Lfi
The last month of the Hebrew calendar is not Kislev. While I can not get a quote on the last month, I can find quotes that state the first day of the new year and from that you can see the last month.

For those who do not know, Hebrews have two calendars that which marks the secular year and that which marks the sacred year. The sacred year is seven months within the secular calendar year. The sacred year starts with the Passover and ends with the eighth day of the feast of taberacles.
When is New Year's day?
That depends. Jews have 4 different days to choose from:

1 Tishri: Rosh HaShanah. This day is a celebration of the creation of the world and marks the start of a new calendar year. This will be the day we shall base our calculations on in the following sections.
15 Shevat: Tu B'shevat. The new year for trees, when fruit tithes should be brought.
1 Nisan: New Year for Kings. Nisan is considered the first month, although it occurs 6 or 7 months after the start of the calendar year.
1 Elul: New Year for Animal Tithes (Taxes).

Only the first two dates are celebrated today.

When does a Jewish day begin?
A Jewish-calendar day does not begin at midnight, but at either sunset or when three medium-sized stars should be visible, depending on the religious circumstance.

Sunset marks the start of the 12 night hours, whereas sunrise marks the start of the 12 day hours. This means that night hours may be longer or shorter than day hours, depending on the season.

When does a Jewish year begin?
The first day of the calendary year, Rosh HaShanah, on 1 Tishri http://webexhibits.org/calendars/calendar-jewish.html#SECTION00460000000000000000

You are correct. I was thinking about our last month when I wrote that. The Hebrew Calendar i do know has their Starting and ending months different from our system of months.

Thank you for your posts.

Sometimes a dream is just the brain acting out. Not every dream is a message from God.

How very true... as a matter of fact nearly all of what we dream falls into the category of psychological brain mapping and the subconcious brain working out every day life problems while you sleep; However....

(Joe 2:28) And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

(Act 2:17) And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:

Some dreams are not your average dreams, there is a quality about them that says they are different. These dreams include conversations with the Lord instructing and showing us through the dreams things that are not seen before us in the world, but they are like movies that the Lord puts on so that we may see and understand.

I too have had them and in them the Lord instructs. IF it is from the Lord He will repeat them if asked. He will go into more depth until they are understood. He will explain, and lead one to study the Word of God to see where others have had the same dream. Of course, they understood it in the context of their time, but God opens up the scriptures so that they become alive and are the visual acuracy of the vision.

I'm with OttawaUK All this talk of the stars, and astrology is not of God. Just because you think you can learn from it does not make it good.

2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Will you think he is good because he has power, and signs from heaven.

Who made the stars? Who placed them there? Why are they there? It's all in the Bible. AGAIN, the Magi or the Wisemen who brought the baby Jesus gifts KNOWING He was the Messiah; How did they know? Read the Gospels again!

Sigh... we're being set up for failure folks... What will we do when the Son of Man comes? Will we try to crucify Him as a liar and a thief? Will we try to stone Him to death even if He is healing everyone? What else do you all want from God? I ask these things of you because I've asked these things of myself.

Maybe you've heard that song... What if God were one of us, just a stranger on the bus... trying to make his way home... would you ignore him or help him? Did Jesus ignore the weary sinners or help point the way home?

Man, I'm tired and getting testy... I'm going to get some rest but I'm going to post scripture after scripture tomorrow in a thread; I pray that it will open some eyes here and I can only pray people pay attention.

God bless, til tomorrow God willing,
JS

It's humbling isn't it visionary.
Yes, Praise the Lord... They are not our ways and not our thoughts. They are a breath of fresh air in our darkened mind. They are brighter than the sun, seven times brighter in truth.

Another thing I have noticed is that every Word or/and meaning is found in scripture in its clearness. What was seen in the night stands up in the day and will continue to stand up no matter what opposition the devil throws at it. If it is of the Lord, the Lord's signature is upon it.
