Not necessarily the Pharisees but the seat of Moses. After Jesus said 'from above' He said "therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.” What He did here is reveal the descent of God's authority from heaven to the religious authority to the state authority. I believe Jesus is teaching the proper order of human society under God.I hope you aren't taking 'from above' to mean
the Pharisees. They handed him over, but Yah
gives power to rulers.
Did you know that the seat or throne of Moses is a literal or tangible chair? (Exodus 18:13) A prince can not sit on the throne from his father the king, unless the body from the king is buried. No one except Moses sat in his seat, Torah does not record even his sons (or heirs) sitting there. Yet Yeshua says that the hypocrites while they were teaching the people sat in the seat belonging to Moses, but they were not sitting in any seat.

Human society was disordered as it relates to the dignity given to authority from God. The institution that teaches morals and forms conscience is above state rulers.Yahweh appoints all kings and kingdoms, and
at that time, Rome controlled everything.
Israel was subject to Rome and its laws.
The Jews could not even sentence a person to
death. They had to take him before a Roman
judge, as they did with Yeshua.

But Jesus referenced authority as coming from Moses.Because they are in the position of authority, they must be obeyed.
Maybe I'm biased since Moses appeared at the Transfiguration I believe Jesus knew Moses personally.Possibly. I think that duty to Yahweh always
comes first, but we are to obey all who have
authority over us in any thing that does not
conflict with our duty to him.
Nothing about this in Matthew, is there.
Did Yeshua ever say my teaching is only for Jews? What about the Samaritan? The neighbor?
So if "rulers in the law were exposed as unjust judges. Therefore their decisions were not binding, and disqualified as Judges" then to whom did their job pass? The priesthood of Christ is not found in the catholic group. That is an off off off off off off off shoot far from the truth group.
Did the scribes and pharisees lose their authority, because according to Yeshua, it wasn't him who took them off their position but informed the people to continue to obey them.So if "rulers in the law were exposed as unjust judges. Therefore their decisions were not binding, and disqualified as Judges" then to whom did their job pass?
(I'm not saying I agree with that idea)
If the scribes and pharisees lost their authority (2000 years ago), then who had/has the authority?
Who took their place on "Moses seat," and who sits there now?
The Torah does not record any man sitting in the seat of Moses, a heir to the throne can only sit in the king' s chair after the people have buried the king . The "body of Moses" was never found, so no man is allowed to succeed him and sit in his seat, not even his sons. The Pharisees can never sit in Moses seat, the seat of Moses has been reserved for the "body of Moses". After Lazarus was raised from the dead, he was sitting down at the table, while Martha served (John 12:1-3).So if "rulers in the law were exposed as unjust judges. Matthew 28:18-20. Of course at one time he did limit their ministry to a certain location, which make sense for a relatively new ministry.Matthew 10:5-6 and Matthew 15:24 ???
The people of a nation are not allowed to crown a prince to become king unless the old king has been buried by the people. This is "common tradition", common sense. This is why no one has ever sat in Moses seat. Why didn't the sons of Moses sit in his seat?Source(s) for this view?
The Pharisees have no legal authority, they sit in some magical seat belonging to Moses. During these times, Moses has been long dead, no man has ever sat in his seat. The Pharisees were in "bed" with the Roman government, any Roman citizen could exercise their civilian rights. The Pharisees just called the police when they wanted to attack Yeshua. Rome has the power not the hypocrites who ceremonially washed their hands in public. I think Pilate loved to publicly wash his hands when he entertained the people. Pilate and the Pharisees loved to publicly wash their hands "without soap", they desired the opinion of the mob or common people, as they released Barabbas intend of Yeshua. Pilate and the hypocrites hands were full of germs, their hands were dirty, they did not want the legal counsel of prosecuting attorneys or defense attorneys or law judges to settle this legal matter.Possibly. I think that duty to Yahweh always
comes first, but we are to obey all who have
authority over us in any thing that does not

These are not assertions, these are facts, common understanding if you have any knowledge about a kingdom. That is like asking how do we get a new president? If I say an election must take place, I do not need to give a source. Your questions shows your ignorance concerning politics. No one will ask me "well prove to me, give me sources that you need an election to conduct a presidential inauguration?" Please do not ask me silly questions because I will not entertain them. I enjoy having scholarly discussion.Sorry, I thought I asked a questionTry again: What tangible source(s) do you have to back up these assertions?
The seat of Moses was also called the
seat of judgment, and it was very real.

Israel recognises the Seat of Moses as the one in the Synagogue at Chorazin. The seat currently there is a copy - the original is in the Israel Musuem. It is very different to the one in the above picture.
