In far off hills there sacred shrills
resound at nature's throne
songs of praise from glory days
they've somehow always known
the nightbird's call in hard rainfall
a voice that's void of all fear
when evil reigns God's peace remains
as do His flowing tears
in burning winds the musick ends
in winter's silent tomb
but Robin's cry of 'Auld Lang Syne'
still echos through the gloom
when bloody wars invade peaceful paths
nature does not yield
the songbirds' chorus can still be heard
out in the killing fields
the sparrow's flight in morning light
awakens the evil day
making their runs at the firing guns
singin' all the way
cries of death and final breaths
rise through the smoke and fire
but above all sounds of hell on earth
their voices' still rising higher
when judgement calls and darkness falls
the skies will turn blood red
on bloody grounds this wicked world
will soon be lying dead
man's evil schemes to kill our dreams
were conquered all along
seasons' refrain always remains
and soon we'll sing God's song
and when God finally dwells on earth
nature's new song will begin
but those timeless ancient melodies
will endure with us till then....
