CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Were you a fan of Eastern European vehicles in the late 80s?
LOL I've never been a fan of cars, with the exception of a fusion red Tesla. That is the ONLY vehicle I have ever drooled over. Too bad they aren't inexpensive.

My very first car. It was a 1989 Dodge Aries, and it cost me 1,600.00. I paid for it by working at McDonald's and then Wal-Mart while I was in high school.

I do have a car, but it's scary. LOL
This next week I hope to be taking it to a mechanic and asking if it can be fixed or if it needs to be shot.
It is a 1993 Nissan Maxxima.

I'd like to get one financed, but I need VERY low payments, like under 200.00. I'd like to use my hunk of junk as a trade in, if that is even possible. If I have to pay cash upfront, I can't do it yet. I know that probably sounds lame.
I'm kind of hoping I can get a Kia. I have heard lots of people complain about them, but I don't know enough about cars to have an opinion. They may be what fits my budget, and if it runs better than what I've got it would be a blessing.
