Search member's posts DISABLED?

How is it that another member has disabled searching their posts? Where is this feature? I have been told by staff that this featuer no longer exists . . . They don't even have access to it.

So how is it when I try to search a paritcular member's posts I get this message:

Privacy statement in function, Searching has been disabled for this members's posts.

It looks a though EVERYONE'S search posts is getting that same message. When I asked a friend why she had disabled her posts, she said he never had. Then she looked up mine and got the same answer - even though I have never disabled mine either.

I read somewhere due to privacy concerns they disabled searching of everyones posts other than their own posts till they get things set up correctly.
