I just got finished listening to NPR where two people, with opposing views, spoke about the treatment of killer whales in the Sea World parks around the world.

I heard of a girl who was killed and dismembered by an orca in his rage (please pray for her family too) after her young daughter was taken away from her, and of many cases of orca attack on trainers which are never seen in the media. The whales don't sound like they are always "happy campers" in captivity.

I heard of stories like a killer whale mother being separated from her 3 year old daughter and of how she cried piteously for a long time.

The speaker defending Sea World always had an explanation to defend such things.

Please pray for the animals to receive the treatment Messiah wants for them and for Sea World to do His will in this regard.

This is a tough question. Should we lock more of them up and make the world safer for seals or should we allow more of those vicious predators to continue their heartless slaughter of those fairly innocuous and playful seals? what do you think the fish that those innocuous and playful seals viciously prey upon would think?

We are not responsible for what animals do in the wild, for example seals who eat ultra cute, harmless, penguins. We are however, I believe, responsible for how we treat animals that we have control over, as in captivity.

This is a prayer forum. I assume you will be praying for humans to be more humane and kind to animals? Rhetorical Q.

I will pray for both humans that are harmed by animals and animals that are harmed by humans. Is that allowable?

Of course. Thank you for your prayers. Just a side comment, though of course humans should be prayed for, if animals who are meant to live in the wide oceans are kept in relatively small and confined areas, who is ultimately responsible for the humans being harmed under those conditions? Rhetorical Q. again but I believe there is no documented case of an orca ever attacking a person in the wild. If I had to spend the rest of my life confined to an area no bigger than what they live in, I'd not be happy at all and I'm even smaller than their babies.

Praying that Sea Park
sets all the animals free!

It is not the animals fault - they
are in captivity and treated
badly!
LORD have mercy!
