You have made a horrible mistake (sinned) by gossiping about someone; Found out what you said was completely untrue and harmful to the person. You apologize directly to this person who tells you "sorry is not good enough" and wants financial amends, do you make an offer or take other action, if other what?

I would do all in my power to make amends. If they sued I would make an offer to settle the dispute in a civil manner.

Do you think that taking pens, paper, highlighters, post-it notes etc home from the office without permission is stealing?

that is hard to say. It should fit the offense. In my estimation $5000 would be a settlement for a pretty damaging offense.

If you are at your desk at work your immediate tasks are completed is it proper to play a game or surf the web rather than doing other work that is available?

I would say no as you are still on the company time! You should be productive for your employer!

Your neighbor's dog drives you crazy with barking. One day the dog comes on your property and lingers. Your neighbors are not home. Do you call the dog pound to come get the dog or just wait until they get home to have them get their dog?

I would give them more groceries and let them know that I would be willing to help them in the future.

You notice an 9-year old girl slip a pack of gum into her purse at the checkout line. You know that she has stolen. Do you tell the cashier? Do you tell the mother? Or do you just ignore the situation?

I talk privately to her and encourage her to put it back and encourage her to participate in some form of community service where there's mentoring, etc.

There's a bully intimidating a much smaller kid. You.......

I go to the children, separate them...talk to the bully...if I know the parents or can find out who they are...talk to them when I can make contact with them. I also talk separately to the other child to make sure he/she is ok...encourage him/her...and try to make contact with his/her parents also. If it is at a school, I would also talk to teachers and principals.

The teacher asks if you wrote your son's book report. Your son claimed he did it but the teacher's right. Do you admit it?

His handwriting in it, I would probably punish him for
A week and that I would put in my own handwriting
Then the teacher would see both my son's and
My handwriting and commpare the two with one another.
