Psalm 40:3
He has put a new song in my mouth-- Praise to our God; Many will see [it] and fear, And will trust in the LORD. Blessed [is] that man who makes the LORD his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O LORD my God, [are] Your wonderful works [Which] You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; [If] I would declare and speak [of them], They are more than can be numbered. Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require Then I said, "Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book [it is] written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law [is] within my heart."
Proverbs 15:8
The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright [is] His delight.
Ecclesiates 5:4-7
When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For [He has] no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed-- Better not to vow than to vow and not pay.Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger [of] God that it [was] an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands? For in the multitude of dreams and many words [there is] also vanity. But fear God.
2 Corinthians 1:9-12
Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver [us], you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift [granted] to us through many. For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.
