[Citizen of the Kingdom]

Father thank you for today, what You have in store for me
I give to You my time and attention, please help me today to see
only what is on my plate, not yesterdays evil, nor toward tomorrows
For looking at what was or could be, can bring so much of sorrows
The day ahead looks as bright as from Your light that I can see
Thank You that from this worrysome world, You have have set me free
by focusing on Your will today and all that is in the moment right now
I know You will provide for me and really show me how
not to clutter my plate with useless things that only corrupt my vision
of all Your intentions toward me and hide from me Your mission.
I pray for strength to do everyday just what You want me to do
Jesus be my all in all, that's all I'm asking from You. Amen

For that I'd do without regard
To combat the king of Sin;

It wasn't a call to callous my knees
By coming to you in prayer
(Indeed it's a duty that relieves
The weight of my daily cares);

No, the challenge that You have thrown,
The deed that You'd have me do,
Is go into the might throng
And love them as You do.

He Is Risen

Bells of joy ring out...new dawn
Our saviour is risen!!
it's Easter morn pain is over,
Our Lord was crucified to save us, to free us ,
for US HE DIED ALLELUIA
He lives this day Christ is risen!!!

Easter day hailed in glorious awesome light
clothed in brilliant, magnificent white
All people praise, praise Him, Lord above
bow down before the mighty king
crown of thorns is now crown of love
Lift up your voices praise and sing Alleluia!!!!
Christ is risen Alleluia!!!

we hear your voice Lord
we hear you calling
we see your face Lord
wondrous and smiling
all our love we give to you this special day
for the sacrifice you gave to show us the way

Sacrifice

Upon the cross they laid You down,
Upon Your head they placed a crown.
They nailed You to that awful tree,
Yet when they did, it was for me.

Your back was beaten, bruised and sore,
the human You could take no more.
But as You lay upon that tree,
Your Spirit says You thought of me.

I hear the nails they hammered through,
My God, the pain I’ve caused for You.
And now You cause my eyes to see,
You did it all, in love, for me.

The soldier’s spear, it pierced Your side,
For me You truly lived, and died.
What more could any lover give?
You died, and rose, that I might live

For me You suffered all that pain,
That I might Adam’s state regain,
Become again God’s favoured child,
As when on Adam He first smiled.

How can such love I understand,
Although Your Spirit holds my hand.

Letting Go

To let go doesn't mean to stop caring,
it means I can't do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off,
it's the realization that I can't control another
To let go is not to admit powerlessness,
which means the outcome is not in my hands
To let go is not to try and change or blame another,
I can only change myself
To let go is not to care for,
but to care about
To let go is not to fix,
but to be supportive
To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their own outcomes
To let go is not to be protective,
it is to permit another to face reality
To let go is not to nag, scold, or argue,
but to try to take each day as it comes
To let go is not to criticize and regulate anyone
but to try to become what dreams can be
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future
To let go is to fear less and love more!!!
