Psalm 132:
1 LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed
unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle
of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes,
or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 Until I find out a place for the LORD,
a habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
Preparing a habitation for God Almighty.
Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and song,
and he has become my salvation: he is my God,
and I will prepare him a habitation;
my father's God, and I will exalt him.
The Key of David, revealed in the Testimony of Paul
2 Corinthians 12:
9 And he said unto me,
My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is
made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore
will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power
of Christ may rest upon me.
So many times I have heard this verse referenced, often
a verbatim quote. The statement reflects a form of humility,
without the humiliation. For as often as this is referenced,
I have not heard someone testify to the pleasure in the
transformation process of becoming a habitation for the
Mighty God, though it is laid out succinctly in the next verse.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches,
in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Remember David, in all his afflictions. This is the Memorial
by which one accesses the Key of David.
Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee
an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength,
and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
Enter through the door opened with the key of David.
Psalm 132:
7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
8 Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he has desired it for his habitation.
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
Entering His Rest
Hebrews 4:
9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.
10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased
from his works as God did from His.
Make your calling and your election sure.
2 Peter 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you
abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ.
Whosoever has ears, hear what the Spirit is saying.
Revelation 3:
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,
‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true,
“He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts,
and shuts and no one opens”.
10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere,
I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come
upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
12 “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God,
and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God
and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes
down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
