Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but it seems like we lost the ability to post scripture reference that links to the scripture like it did previously. Any chance is this coming back? I really liked that feature. Thanks

Sure.

Previously if we posted scripture reference for example 1 John 1:9 it would be highlighted, and one could click on it to see the scripture text.

Also, it would be great to get the underline option back too!

The Bible used to be integrated into the forum, where you could access it via the forum menu and it would also auto hyperlink any scriptural reference in your post, so that a reader could click on it and go to a page (within the forum) with the scripture. It appears to have been some sort of mod that disappeared when you upgraded.

Example: John 3:16

Any reference in your post would be hyperlinked by the forum to point to the forum's built-in Bible, and go to a separate page with the quoted scripture via the link. This link (above) is going to Bible Gateway, because I inserted a hyperlink manually.

If you add it back in, it was set for NKJV.

Pretty cool! It would be nice if we could select the bible version in settings If they can make this feature work on the upgrade.

For a long time I've been manually linking my scriptural references to Bible Gateway out of habit. Occasionally I would forget to and it was nice to have the forum auto-link for me in those cases.
