well what should we make of translations then are they the written word of God? How could we call a translation that?

I have a nice leather-bound copy of Benjamin Franklins Autobiography produced by Easton Press almost 200 years after his time. It is in English. However are the copies that were translated into French not the words of Benjamin Franklin as well? They are still the words of Benjamin Franklin if translated correctly.well what should we make of translations then are they the written word of God? How could we call a translation that?
