Script Help

I'm writing an adaptation of My Fair Lady for a Drama Club at my school where adults study ENglish in Korea. I've never written anything like this before so it's a bit of a challenge. I'm about halfway through and have one week to finish it off.

One of my main questions for those with experience of this is how long pages of script tend to become when performed. I'm finding it hard to judge how long a scene might take to perform just by reading the script. Any tips?

ALso, I can't seem to make the script fit nicely into three acts or anything. Mine seems to be four acts of different lengths. Is this a problem?

From what I understand, the rule of thumb is each page averages about one minute onstage. It could be longer if a page is mostly stage directions and the actions take a little longer.

I don't know any reason why four acts would be a problem.

thanks for that... I'm drafting stuff now. About halfway through the production in draft form. Script has to be in the hands of the cast on Saturday so some work to be done!
