Does anyone here writes screenplays?

I have started to write one before (me and my friends film and act movies for fun with our video camera) - we usually make it up as we go, so we've never actually written a screenplay, tho I'm interested in learning how...

Have you ever written one?

I wrote a short one and gave it to a friend who's already made some shorts films. He liked it, but I don't know if he ever filmed it. I've been working on three scripts for about a year now, and hopefully I'll finish them soon. I just find it easier than novels or stories, I don't know why.

I'm in the middle of writing 2 screenplays for major motion pictures.

The first, I'm hoping will turn into a series set of movies. They are based on a book series but I can't give any information on them due to legal matters.

The second is a chick flick... I want to say romantic comedy, but there is a lot of drama in it as well. It's been a difficult one for me to write being based on a true story which hits a little close to home. But I have high hopes for it.

I'm waiting on making any deals with companies with it till it's finished. There are a lot of issues that need worked out before I attempt to find someone to do the project. I do have some ideas who we will be going with after talking to a few reps, but there is still a lot of work to do before that point.

As far as doing it for a living, I do a lot of things without limiting myself to what it is I do. This is just one of them.

I do plays. One I'm doing now, Above All Things of the Earth, is a play. And taking time to finish.

I have a ulterior motive in being here.

Here's the back story. Hitler believed that if you captured a nation's youth, then you captured the nation. He had a point. The last two writers were less than half my age. I consider them young. You will strike a blow for the kingdom.

Homosexuals have been pursuing an agenda for decades. They know that if you control cinema and books, you control the minds of the world. They are doing a good job in creating characters that are positive images of their "lifestyle."

We need to do at least as well in the future.

I posted a question. "What is image and how important is it?" One fellow said that image is fake and hypocritical. Imagine that. I suppose he has made it his life's goal to have no image. This is a most amusing place.
