Hey Im Lesley, and im a Scrapbooker and i just wanted to put up a thread on scrapbooking because im lookin for some new ideas and for places to get more 12x12 papers... i basically have all the ones in the local craft store but anyone thats a mega scrapbooker know of good sites?? lemme know! thanks

Hi CL Lesley!

When I am looking for 12x12 I usually go to Meijer first (of all places) lol.
I don't know what part of the country your in, but they have a small scrapbooking section and sell 70 sheets of paper for $11.99 at the 2 stores by me. If it's a specific design I want on it I find a local scrapbook store.
Ebay is helpful for supplies too

Hi, I have been scrapping for a few years. I also teach classes. One of the best sites online, voted number 1, is www.twopeasinabucket.com. They have supplies and a ton of scrapbook page ideas, card ideas,etc. You can download any of the ideas into your own "scrapbucket" for free and go back to it any time for the ideas. I use it all the time for good ideas. Enjoy the site.

not sure on stores, but i know that there are quite a few wonderful UK scrapbook magazines! maybe they have listings in them?

you may also be able to find a good on-line store (either in the UK or US/Australia) who would be willing to ship -- i know that www.cropperscottage.com will ship internationally and they have the latest & greatest (and a wonderful board full of nice people & a gallery of ideas, etc)

thanks! thing is with internationsal shipping is it reeeeeeally ranks up the price i think. whenever i've ordered stuff online from other countries (not necessarily scrap book stuff) i've been nailed on postage.

not sure how croppers cottage does it - but i know there are quite a few people who order from them from europe & australia, so i know they ship, just not sure on the pricing!

i love scrapbooking! I keep all my ticket stubs and carry my camera with me pretty much everywhere just in case. I love doing all sorts of things with stickers, irreguler scissors, picture frames, etc. cool links in this thread thanks for posting

I used to belong to a swap site for scrapbookers and we had a few from England and they usually made items for the swap even if it was a store bought swap because they just could not get supplies in England. (And we loved their work I didn't mind buying my $30-$40 worth of product to split up between 15 or so people and ship out and get back a few hand made items with the other store bought stuff.

The shipping was a bit more but how we did it was we bagged everything and mailed it with self addressed stamped big envelopes to the hostess and they would split everything out and mail them back to us in our own envelopes.

That swap site is off the internet now though. I think you could look around to see if you can find another place that does that. I had to give it up since I was realy into swapping and not enough into "scrapbooking" if you know what I mean.

i have done quite a few swaps as well -- i have so much STUFF from swaps that will probably never get used!
