If there was an open Y on the board, you would be able to make AIMFULLY using all 7 letters.

Was it an online game? Or real game at home?
Online should have the list of acceptable words. AIMFUL should pass the test there (unless the OSPD has come out with a fourth edition that dropped the word).
I just spellchecked it and it said it was misspelled.
Bummer for losing the challenge on it!

I have scored that round. Just a note about scoring- I am entirely unreliable and my scoring method may vary according to how well I have slept, or how many blessings I have left after a trip to the armour shop!
