I have a friend whose family ancestry is Finnish and Swedish. Large family gatherings for him inevitably means lutfisk.

I came out Roman Catholic on the belief meter. Close but no cigar. I didn't like the questions and answers on many of them.

Finns do not eat that kind of fish - only Swedish barbarians do.


Oh, and I agree on the Chocolate Creed: the darker the better shall be the whole of the law!

I've managed to avoid lutfisk in the roughly ten years that I've lived in Sweden. I don't know anyone who eats it.

I hate the taste of fish. That stuff is like fish to the third power. I'm so happy that I'm not Ashkenazi. Get to have rice over Passover too.

Right now I prefer being isolated over joining anything, so you can make -10 discount on all my scores. I anyways start at +10 just to make it look better.

My scores based on current understanding, can change overnight:

+10 Neo-paganism / Wicca I have not too much similar theological beliefs but they are very nice people and I share some of their general philoshopy like theological subjectivism. Only individualistic religion I have studied so far. Gets bonus for actually existing unlike number two.

+7,5 Liberal-charismatic christianity. Pity it doesn't exist, would get highest score if it did. Nowadays christians are either liberals or fundamentalist-charismatics. Maybe when I'm 100-years old, this becomes trend.

+5 Liberal christianity. I could actually breathe there, but usually there is too much rationalism for my taste. Lack of "crazy stuff" keeps me out of there. I don't want too moderate religion.

+2,5 Charismatic christianity. I have history there and I still miss some parts of it. I'm still not against charismatic stuff, I just can't be fundamentalist and all charismatics are basicly fundies.

-2,5 Eastern orthodox. Most mysticism-oriented of classic christian churches. Has rich tradition and history. On minus side it is authorative, and I love individualism. Also, pity it's ruined by Russian nationalism, that hurts my finnish feelings too much.

-5 Fundamentalist christianity. Too strict, alot of social control, usually fear-based athomsphere. Compensated by some personal level religious fun.

-7,5 Antitheistic atheism. Has too many bad sides of fundamentalistic religion, yet lacks all that fun that proper religion comes with on personal level.

-10 Islam. Not possible to shoehorn it anywhere near to what I consider attractive.
